I dont get it either. Everyone one of those lesser team on a given stage (Europcar Katusha stage 13, Netapp stage 14, Garmin stage 11) they havent even got close to a stage win. On the other hand, this might the the last chance for Garmin, but it seems hard to win even a stage like this. |

Kwiatkowski or Bakelants will win I think. Too bad no a guy like Kruijswijk didn't jump with the break. |

Yeah, that was what is was all about. This time Slagter better deliver
Called Voeckler and Iza in my preview. I think Izaguirre is one of the best 2-3 climbers in this break, so Im confident. |

I think, Michael Rogers is likely to win yet another GT stage of the year. |

Let's hope Slagter will finally deliver, but i'm not too optimistic about that. |

All that effort from Garmin to put Slagter in there is just wow *claps slowly*
No pressure at all on Slagter

Let's see if he can manage better than the 99th he got after all of Garmin's work on the Talansky stage.
Rogers the favourite from the breakaway? He has been climbing well, and is one of the better descenders in the peloton

Fingers crossed for Rogers and Voeckler for me (granted Voeckler might be stretching it).
I stuck them in my KOM team at the expense of some GC riders in the hope they'd be in a break that makes it to the end. If it comes good might be enough to go top...

I do wonder if he maybe just lacks the kick to win in a break. He would have to grind the others out on the final climb rather than dropping them or beating them in a sprint. Voeckler on the other hand can climb but also has a great kick and is probably an even better descender.
Lots of riders there who have a chance though.

Phil and Paul's senility is very evident this year.
