STAGE 4
Stage Profile
Finish Profile
Today's stage finishes in Mur de Bretagne.A typical puncheurs stage.
Favourites:Gilbert,Evans,Vinokourov
Outsiders:Freire,Cunego,S.Sanchez(PLAYER),Contador,Schlecks,Anton,Rodirguez,Pozzato
This was the top 18 of the GC before today's stage.
Stage just started.
We are seeing the maillot jaune Cancellara and the maillot vert Greipel. Both will give their jerseys to someone else today.
Some breakaway tries. But they couldn't become successful. We are seeing Wiggins at the front of the peloton with Tom Boonen.
Close up on Samuel Sanchez.
Peloton goes together.
Richie Porte(SAXO-BANK SUNGARD) gets the 1 point from the 4th category climb.
Halfway up the stage.I see Pozzato,Evans,Cunego,Fuglsang,S.Sanchez,Horner,Kolobnev,Rogers,Vinokourov,F.Schleck,Gilbert,Freire and Gesink are at the front or near the front here.
Peloton is still together.
The breakaway finally forms with Cavendish(HTC),Flecha(SKY),Hushovd(GARMIN-CERVELO) and I send Koldo Fernandez(EUSKALTEL-EUSKADI(PLAYER).
1 km to the intermediate sprint for peloton.
Sprinters are sprinting for the points on intermediate sprint
Mark Cavendish(HTC) is the leader on provisional points rankings.
The BOTD is 2'02'' ahead of peloton.
Puncture for Rinaldo Nocentini(AG2R LA MONDIALE).
Another victim of the puncture:Christian Vandevelde(GARMIN-CERVELO)
With 12.9 km to go the gap is 1'12'' with the break and peloton. The peloton will probably win the stage.
Koldo Fernandez is solo on the attack.
5.6 km to go and both of Samuel Sanchez and Igor Anton are at the front.Meanwhile Fernandez's gap is decreasing.
Hushovd,Cavendish and Flecha are being caught with 3.3 km to go.
The gap is down to 14 seconds
The final punch sprint.I think Gilbert or Evans won.And S.Sanchez made another solid top 10 with 7th place.
Oh,Damiano Cunego(LAMPRE-ISD) gets the victory ahead of Cadel Evans and Philippe Gibert.
The complete stage results
As you are seeing Nieve and Brajkovic here who lost time..Janez Brajkovic lost more time here and if herides like that he will lose his GC hopes.
The complete GC standings
Andy Schleck(LEOPARD-TREK) takes the GC lead today from Fabian Cancellara.
Complete KOM standings.Cunego also takes the lead here.
Complete points standings.Cavendish is the new leader.
Complete Young Rider Standings. No big changes.
Complete team standings.No changes

A flat stage.Sprinters stage.
We are seeing maillot jaune Andy Schleck and maillot vert Mark Cavendish with Samuel Sanchez.
The BOTD has just been formed.R.Feillu,E.Martinez(PLAYER),C.Lemoine,S.Dumoulin,S.Turgot and D.Oss.
We see maillot a pois Damiano Cunego with Samuel Sanchez.
Daniel Oss takes the 1 pt. for the 4th category climb.
Sprinters are sprinting for intermediate sprint.
The virtual points rankings after the Int.Sp.
The last 9.4 km.Both of S.Sanchez and Anton are at the front.
A split!!Frank Schleck is caught behind!!
Questions.
Will the break become caught?
Who will win the stage?
Will Frank Schleck come back?If he doesn't how many seconds or minutes he will lose?
The last 9.4 km
Final sprint
Victory for Pozzato!!What a brilliant Tour de France he is having.First he won the 1st stage to Mont des Aloulettes and wore yellow and now he wins in Cap Frehel ahead of Freire and Boasson Hagen
Janez Brajkovic looses another 56''.
Richie Porte and Frank Schleck loose 1'10''
The new GC
The new points standings.Freire takes the lead.

Today's stage will go from Dinan to Lisieux. It is a lumpy stage with an uphil finish. And being with 226 kms long this is the longest stage of TDF 2011.
Stage profile
Favourites:
Freire,Pozzato,Gilbert
Outsiders:
Evans,S.Sanchez(PLAYER),Cunego,Anton(Player),Some sprinters
Peloton rolling together.
In the 3rd category climb Leonardo Duque took 2 points ahead of Bradley Wiggins who took 1 point.
Sprinted for the intermediate sprint.
Provisional points rankings after the intermediate sprint.Freire extends his lead.
Then Jimmy Engoulvent attacks from the peloton.
In the 3rd category climb Engoulvent takes 2 points and Fuglsang leads the peloton to take 1 point.
Then in Cote du Billot Samuel Sanchez(PLAYER) attacks and takes the 1 point.
But they catch him becaues the descent is not tricky.I do better in tricky descents.
The GC contenders and the sprinters are at the front to avoid time losses
I say to Igor Anton to sprint/attack quite early to fool the others and he unleashes his sprint.
He is going on.Who can catch him.As they started to catch him.
They catch him.It was so close to the line.As Oscar Freire wins in Lisieux(SSJ2Luigi you will happy)and after Pozzato's bad day he has a comfortabe lead on points rankings.Samuel Sanchez(PLAYER) gets a good 6th place while Anton finishes only 23rd.
As this is a good day because S.Sanchez and Anton didn't lose time again and some riders lost time.
Coppel,Nieve(PLAYER),P.Velits,Karpets,Van Den Broeck,Peraud,Tondo,Kreuziger,Gadret,F.Schleck(Again),Hesjedal,Horner,Nibali,Wiggins,Pauriol,Porte(Again),Gesink,Taaramae, Klöden, and Moncoutie ost 20 seconds while Janez Brajkovic clearly lost his GC ambitions by losing another 1'39''
The GC
The KOTM.Cunego still in lead.
The points.Freire extends his lead.
The young riders.EBH extends his lead.
The teams.We are now 12th.
