If you're referring to Jesleyh, that is his 2nd post. He posted first here which in fact did include a Didi picture.
EDIT: Thought the picture should be invalid since it is a Giro picture and not a TdF picture.

Sagan came in as a superstar but his progression stopped just a bit under the world class, which is why I prefer a cheaper Kittel. Could use a second sprinter tho, but only 8 points for one isn't quite enough which is why I fancy Martin more at this moment.
EDIT: Or actually, Martin out, Viviani in Now Sagan has to crash on stage 1...

I think that this Tour isn't made for Peter. Stages 1-7 are for sprinters and Peter can't beat pure sprinters. When I look at whole Tour I guess that Peter can win in stages 9, 11, 12 and maybe 16 which aren't so much for 18 points. Some of these stages wins breakaway...
If they give Sagan for 8 or 6 I pick him for 18 better take pure sprinter I think. |

I would say that there are ideal stages for Peter in tour, even stages 1-7 you listed, there is one cobbled stage and one rolling stage, where he should be top favourite.
To be honest, i have both Kittel and Sagan, so no problem for me. I just made that remark people never learn, because of every year since 2012, you cant win fantasy classics or Tour without Sagan in lineup. Green jersey and shitload of top5 placements are very valuable.

hahahah you think Sagan will get top 5 on flat pure sprinters stages? No chance. If you get shat on by Modolo in Suisse i'd imagine he got no chance vs Cav, Kittel, Greipel, Demare, Kristoff. Sagan has become a Jack of all trades, master of none. Good at everything but not great.
I had gone with Cav and Démare. Démare will shine on this tour I think he'll win a stage at least. His best chance is the Arenberg stage. He'll need to beat Degenkolb.

This season he isn't capable of doing that, his sprinting is way off what it used to be. I think he went somewhere else his climbing skills or recently hes been riding TT's better.
As I said he's turned from a great sprinter to jack of all trades master of none. But we will see, if you come's 6th or 5th on flat stages you lose about 20 points in the green jersey competition to the stage winner. |
