Really liking this start so far, keep at it. Hopefully Duke can come back and demolish the field in the summer.

Chapter 8 - Rehabilitation
After the crash I was unable to even leave my bed, however after 2 months I could begin training again, on a training bike. While it wasnt the toughest training it was difficult in my condition. A day in march, after hours of hard training I got a call from the Garmin manager. ''Hello Duke, getting back in shape? Good to hear, listen the doctor have told me that you wont be ready to ride Amstel Gold Race, neither will you be ready for La Fleche Wallone.'' What he said didnt exactly please me, or made my motivation sky rocket. ''However'' he then continued. ''You will, if you keep up your training, be back in form to ride Liege-Bastogne-Liege, where you will function as helper.'' I was relieved, things were finally starting to look up.
Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.
