Firstly, I never said Froome is the one that's doping (tho he is - in my opinion and in my head), so you can't connect that with the actual conversation. If you want me to express personal opinion, it's that all cyclists are taking drugs & doping as what they do is above normal. Yeah, tell me now that I am just a fatass sitting in front of computer which can't do anything except writing posts on the forum and that I'd have to train hard to get to their level, but no - these kind of arguments are just for stupid people and for little kids. I really feel sorry for all of you that you believe in it. I believe that all cyclists are doped, but it's kind of open secret it seems. What they do is beyond the limits of a normal people (not a fatass, not a game/nolifer, not someone that can't do anything, but beyond limits of a great athlete that's training properly and regulary).
Secondly, I never said that he's stupid. I said that he's stupid IF...if - so if you find it offensive, I am sorry - you're the one. I also do have all rights to call him a moron, a stupid person and whatever I want if he calls me an (pessimistic) idiot. That's once again my personal opinion. To return on the topic, it was discussed many times before and the guy is the member of this community for 2 years, so he probably already read all the shit that were written in all these doping & real cycling threads and he's still blinded by medias & what most of the teams says in medias. I'd behave different if it was someone that just signed up to this site, definitely.
Thirdly - no. He definitely didn't mean "that the atmosphere on Daily is if you don't admit Froome is doped (even though there is no definitive evidence) you are stupid" but that we're actual cunts that can't just accept the fact that someone is better than us so we love to blame the cheaters & dopers. Once again, it's not true. At all. Come up with a good arguments that can beat something like lluuiiggiis post (I don't think that anyone else can make and write few good arguments such as Luigi. In fact, I don't have words for all these cycling expers on site. Go to work as DS's, as doctors or something like that and leave us normal people live in peace. Oh, just to clear this up, every help of this kind is welcome on the forum and hats off to you guys (Count, Aquarius list goes on) ,but some that don't know a shit about cycling and stuff like that are trying to show something off here.)
Now I bothered myself to write this, I'll let you discuss about this for a week and kill you each other with arguments. Good luck.
EDIT: That message was prepared whole night (just few minutes after all this shit started), I just forgot to post it. LOL.

If you are not on this wagon, you are basically stupid and naive.
Honestly, I don't like it that you connect the reasoned, scientific argumentations of Aquarius with the bashing at times of other users. Aquarius is one of the best members around here, explaining so much on cycling and doping and he does it with great calmness. Whilst I agree that some people do use a rather "colourfull" language at times (me surely included now and then), I think it's too little to call it a serious issue, a bandwagon or any form of cyber-mobbing. I think you guys are cooking this whole matter way hotter than it actually is. Daily is a cool community, you guys just get worked up over nothing at times.
@Stromeon: Well, look at his last post and it's rather self explanatory I think.

Yeah, i meant PCMDaily not the game. Im basing my statement on what I have seen here (Not much since i haven't been here very long). I guess im just a rare case of a optimist or something. I like too think everyone is fair and not cheating until they are caught and proven guilty. But its not like i get surprised if anyone get caught.
And i might have been a member for two years but i have been very little on here, and only read stories until recently.
And i don't want to be in these big discussions about doping because that's not anything im interested in spending my time on. And i don't want to read threads filled with doping stuff. So therefor I will probably leave all these threads to you who wants to discuss real-life cycling and i will focus on reading stories where Ian Butler gets his cyclist taken in doping
Sorry for long and messy post but its late and im tired.
Sport freak. Mostly interested in Football (Liverpool, Rosenborg with more), increasing interest in cycling.
Also big Formula 1 fan. Ferrari <3

My post really wasnt meant to offend those I did mention, but when reading it again, it might seem like it. To be clear, I really enjoy to read especially Aquarias' post as he posesses knowledge and will to actually express that knowledge so a regular cycling-fan should be able to understand what he is syaing. My point just is, those very well-argumented posts have convinced a lot (rightfully so, because i want to state once again that i really enjoy those and its most definetely not a critique) that that is the 100% undeniable truth, and people who thnik otherwise are dumb.

1. I agree that Froome is (probably) doped.
2. You both insulted each other. Of course you have the right to do this. However, if we want Daily to be a positive place, we should limit the name calling and bashing. Just my humble opinion.
3. You are probably correct. I may have (and actually probably did) misunderstand what he was trying to say. But I do think that Daily has an "unconscious consensus" that people who think Froome aren't doped are stupid/naive. This only becomes a problem (again imho) when people begin to insult others that they disagree with. And most people (like Aquarius) don't do this. So it really isn't that much of a problem.
But we are now so off topic.

Wow, I've been quoted a lot tonight. Thank you all for the kind words anyway.
I don't own any sort of truth, or anything like that. But heck, I'm half old now, and have been around cycling for long. I wouldn't say my opinion has changed on most aspects of cycling, but I've gained and still gain nuance on different aspects. It might still evolve, but it won't switch from one extreme to another. Balance is important. That's to say I believe a brain is more suited for thinking than a heart.
Now I'm always up for a debate, come up with arguments and we'll discuss them. Come up saying 'I don't believe X dopes because he's such a nice guy and would never do it, his team wouldn't allow it anyway, you're just a bunch of cynical and jealous guys', and, erm, that'll lead to a foe.

I dont know if you think that I believe that Contador and Froome arent doped cause i wrote that, because I definetely think they are.
But I am curious to know when we are at it (alltho its off-topc) what your take on Contador is after his lackluster 2013 season. Wasnt he doped in 2013 or is he just better doped now or is it a result of a better off season and more or less the same dope? |

Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

If Nairo will ride the TDF, yes I will vote for him. He will destroy Froome. Nuff said

I think it will take a few years for Quintana to win the TDF i don't think his climbing in the Giro puts the 2 best climbers in trouble.
I think Contador can win the TDF i would like Froome to win ofc but Contador is looking great at the moment he needs to put a little did in though in this race, don't you think?. |

Yes, he is probably doped. But he is not definitely doped. I think that Keeperodd was talking about the fact that the atmosphere on Daily is i f you don't admit Froome is doped (even though there is no definitive evidence) you are stupid. I don't think it's fair to bash people for having a little faith
On the contrary, do we need someone who calls the forum pessimistic idiots after reading some posts? No one bashes people here, everyone is entitled to their opinion. The only guy who really is below acceptable discussion level is... well, you know, that one kiddo with a usa city nickname (... and he supports you know who
You aiming that at me i see lol just cuz i said you were silly when saying Froome is boring and i pointed out he does stuff AC does too. |

Wasn't this supposed to be a TdF discussion rather than a doping one. |

There isn't really a difference
Or you could go to the Tour de France 2014 Pre-Race Thread

I know. But, nobody won't change his opinion from these useless arguments. The only thing that will change would be the number of posts on this thread. Otherwise I hope Contador to win cuz I hate sky's boring dominating style. |
