You better wait for patches & DBs before you start it.

Going to start an Orica career when a decent DB first is released. If the sprint gameplay is good I might start an Argos career aswell.

Does somebody know, how the racemoney is working? In the finance-screen i can see the money, but only as a overall number(San Luis 5700 € ....) and not detailled.
I thought the money was listed in the races too, but no ...
Perhaps somebody can explain this feature? |

gedger ; must be a new change they have made as part of the new rider signing system they introduced this year... In previous versions you could extend your riders at any time, but now it appears everyone wants to wait until June 21st...
I started a game with Bardiani.. Just finished the Tour of Oman which had sponsor goal of a stage win... On stage 2, Pirazzi got into the BotD and up the first small climb just before the stage end he pulled away from his 2 companions, and went on to win the stage by 4 mins overall... (was 2 mins ahead when he accelerated.. fighting stat seems OP)
Managed to hold on over the next 4 stages for the overall win, just |

sprint gameplay is one big joke right now. Sprinters do not follow orders at all, and they just randomly join other trains instead following your lead-out...

But im not talking about extensions, im talking about signing free riders who are not under contract now. I wanted to start a career with Trek and add another sprinter to the lineup, so i tried to sign Haedo from the free riders, but it told me i have to wait till 21st june |

If the game will be patched, and Steam has it on sale I might buy it and start a career with Astana... Nibali and Fuglsang fighting for the TDF, Aru and Scarponi duo to the Giro and Kangert with Landa to the Vuelta and Brajkovic peaking for smaller stage races. Seems like a fun team... Would have to hire a few sprinters tho... I like sprinters...

It's strange in my carrer I started a stage 3 or 4 times and each time the endurance was different for each rider. Sometimes one or two have only 75% of endurance. |

Sometimes even lower for me, and totally random. Doesn't make sense.
So I select a sprinter for a one-day race, he is in good shape, and he has just half of the endurance. |

Aha, it's a feature:

Makes careers unplayable in my opinion. |

Out from what I thought of that explanation from Eyolfur it makes sance... When you train very hard you won't have that much freshness in race, its just like in real life...
Edit: But, I have not played career yet, so don't know if they got it to work good, but I just said out from that explanation...

Why should it make the career unplayable? You cannot play like in PCM 2013 but that's not a problem as you still can play PCM 2013 if you prefer the features of PCM 13.
I understand the idea and the logic behind the feature. Look for example at this years Tour de Suisse. Certain riders have the TdF as primary goal and trained very hard. So at the start of the TdS they might lack freshness to perform well in the TdS.
In my opion it makes the career better because it will not be so easy to achieve good results with the same rider over a long time as in previous versions of PCM.
And if you really have a problem with that feature. You can exploit the fluctuational behaviour and reload the career until your rider has a good freshness.

Only Cyanide knows. And given that nobody of us works for Cyanide, we have no idea when the patches are released
