Does he/she fancy him/herself in another role in the sport of cycling after retiring from riding?
Now those are the kind of questions we are taking about!
Thanks
Not that it's not good questions we've gotten so far, but I hope we're not going to ask more or less the same questions that you could find in any cycling magazine or website interview.
A few from me then : 'how much do you stick to the plan when you train, and how much is the product of your inspiration of the moment ?'
'How good a cycling mechanic are you ? Can you fix your bike on your own ?'
Good post, and questions |

Will you only target stars or famous riders, or will you go for more random ones as well ? |

Well I and ManxMissile have some lists.
I had a look at pro cyclists/teams (extending it now as we had internly a discussion) and ManxMissile contacts woman cyclists.
The majority are ProTour (WorldTour) riders/teams but also some PCT and CT riders are on my list.
I guess we will definately get some interviews.
With the discussion we had we also try to contact former cyclists and not only cyclists but also staff.
You can suggest people, not just suggesting questions.
I guess with the tactic we have, we will also make individual threads for each person that says yes to an interview to have a more personal interview and not a boring, unpersonal and uninteresting "bunch of questions" that is for everyone the same.

I think that would be the best.
Meanwhile another couple of questions:
- When and how did you get into cycling in the first place? (just realised fjhokie already asked that one).
- What was the best and worst parts when pursuing a career as a cyclist (before your breakthrough)?

How do other sports influence your own approach to cycling? In what way, do you benefit from them?
What can other sports learn from cycling in your opinion?
What's the most unique & special thing about cycling you can think of?
How's your relation to other cycling disciplines such as Mountainbike, Cyclo-Cross or Track?
In which way does social media (eg twitter, strava) influence your training and pre- & post-racing routine?
What was your most fantastic "just for fun"-ride you ever had?

It'd be interesting interesting to see how cycling is viewed in different cultures. Therefore I think it'd be nice to interview one of the African guys at MTN (Teklehaimanot, Grmay or another one) or one of the Japanese guys (Arashiro, Beppu).

Okay, so i made an approach to get Sagan into this, fingers crossed, but i really doubt it will suceed.
Maybe off-season would be better time for this, rather than pre-Tour timing...
I will try to do the same with several czech stars.

Great! Because it's a good idea that a rider has from the same website 2 offers! (No, it's not a good idea)

Not sure which rider do you mean now? Maybe there will be more of this double offers, as i dont see any list which riders where asked, or only admins can ask them?

Michael Skelde, manager of Cult Energy (and former cyclist) could be cool as he have built one of the strongest CT-teams with a focus on Danish talents and could potentially be aiming to go Pro-conti next year.

I meant VoetsT as his was the last post otherwise I would quote.
Sagan ok because I haven't asked so far but not Stybar.
Read the first post, read what the admins wrote here.
"We are working on it" and with "we" it is the admin team.

OK, sorry for avoiding the "official" way with Sagan, i will let you know if the permission is granted and i wont try the next ones myself.
But it would be nice to have this as "community project", as it is also better and more special for us to try and contact fellow countryman or favourite rider. I think Stybar and other czech riders would listen more to czech offer and it would not be lost in translation, but maybe it is just my point of view. Anyway, it is really nice idea.
