I thought Farrar did surprisingly well.

BMC's Jackson Stewart has been in a solo break all today and won all 3 intermediate sprints as well was the mountain sprint.
The other positions in the sprints were:
2. Cavendish 3. Cipollini
2. Cavendish 3. Farrar
2. Farrar 3. Millar

Although it may have been Ciolek and not Cavendish.
Thew adobe tour tracker says Cavendish, Cyclingnews says Ciolek.

Fuck that was an exciting finish. I was right there not quite in a good place to see the finish as I got last year but I did get a full on view of the podiums presentation. I missed Haedo as he was going by but I have an awseom pic of Cancellara raising his arms as Haedo took the win. I will put them up soon.

Unfortunitly it appears the names of my files are invalid. Anyone? I really did get some good (if slightly blurry) pictures. I know you all can't wait to see that Cancellara pic. I also have Hincapie, Stewart, Haussler, Ciolek, and unknown highroad rider (possibly brittish) the rock racing models Levi of course and the womens crit winner Brooke Miller.
Since my coach was the manager for the womens crit I was asked to do a special favor: USADA was supposed to have people there to track down the top 3 and 3 randoms for drug testing. Instead they had me.
I left for the race a 8 am and got back at 4:30 then left for work at 4:45 and only jsut got back. I am now going to go watch the stage on TV then hit the sack cause I am exhasted seeing as I worked till 11pm last night

Also all of the riders who made appearances on the podium recieved flowers but they threw them off the stage into the crowd. My years of playing catcher paid off and I caught Cioleks flowers By instinct too

I fully expect Haedo to win another sprint in this race, and then not win anything else all year. Go, JJ! |

Cavendish just made such a dumb mistake.

He took a chance and he almost suprised them. He was up front too early so hadn't many options.
