If the soundtrack wasnt so bad, you might bother listening to it once or twice.

Now i know how to break PCM completely! Make it possible to use Shaders 3.0. I mean afterall, i think most of us are using DX9 by now...
EDIT: Orrrrrr move the game use the Source engine!

I remember the post where it explained how to put your own playlist in but can't find it anymore. Can someone help me?

I can do it very easily:
0) Find music, preferably in MP3
1) Convert music too .ogg
2) Place in a "music" folder somewhere in the games folder. Optional: Remove old music
3) Enjoy

You can leave it in .mp3, but you have to create another folder. It's easier to convert the files with Xilisoft Audio converter or JetAudio and put them in .ogg.
As Takitdown said, I created a soundtrack in .ogg some weeks ago, but unfornately it is not so legal, cause we hadn't some of the songs, but it gives another sensation to the game...

Now come on guys. You're drifting off the subject here.
Sure PCM2008 Music is hopefully better.
Also I hope as the game is sanctioned by the TDF, then it should contain everything TDF including the commentary. Something new would be refreshing. I hope to have my Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen done sometime in the next few months. I'm still waiting on a new PC... |

I'm still waiting for that stuff too...hearing "the peloton is contended to let it grow" just makes me sing "Just let it grow, let it grow inside of you...".
I don't believe that Cyanide will make a revolution, so the best way is creating the stuff ourselves.

Yep...I can say that it's a very good reason for my way to play in mountain stages, cause I don't attack, just set the effort and make a gap.

The soundtrack is a nice feature but i think that the most important thing for the next game are the graphics since they're keeping a similar database

I still cant help thinking that Cyanide could move to a 3rd party graphics engine and survive.

And Linux. I swear, i've almost managed to make PCM07 run in Ubuntu 704.

Is there any word on the likelyhood of the complete farse of PCM2007??? Are we all likely to have to change our PC specs to make this new version run??? Im stunned how it passed the Beta Testing phase, when after its release just about everyone had problems. |

i think it would be better to delay the game 1 week instead of launching it and releasing a patch, i went on holiday for a week and a half before pcm release and when i came back the first patch had been released |

Again, people keep forgetting this. The beta tests end months before the game is actually released. We, the beta testers, can't do much about what Cyanide does to the game after the beta tests have ended. Neither can we decide whether or not Cyanide fixes the problems we mention.
Most, if not all, of the major problems which people have experienced after the release of the game are things which we hadn't reported to Cyanide (because the beta versions didn't have the same bugs), or problems which we experienced in the early beta tests, but had been fixed in the last beta version. There's no reason to blame the beta testers. |

Nobody was blaming the beta testers, he was just asking how in the world the game had so many bugs |

Yes Crue, dont take it personally. Beta Testing should be the last phase of R & D before release. Collective review of any problems, fix and release. If indeed 2007 had been tested beforehand and then Cyanide made all these extreme changes, then that smacks of a company that has no idea about process.. |
