Enjoying the season reviews being presented. Your three big leaders certainly delivered across the season. Good luck on the return to the PT - you at least have some PT quality riders on board already, so will be interesting to see how the squad evolves in the off-season.
There's already a good core present, it still needs some additions by either training or transfers. Whichever way i go in the transfers, i should have the money for both though, i just need to make sure i plan it right.
Yes there was something fairly unspectacular about Bacardi's year despite clearly good results. I expected your team to challenge for the top place but it didn't really happen. Still promotion always looked highly likely and more certain when Lotto announced they were finishing. This I guess was the important aim, but would have been nice for you to get a few more wins.
Intxausti can point to a really good year of stage racing - will be nice to see him back in the PT and give the Vuelta another go perhaps. He is the nearly man there as we have seen that race is a friend of good PCT stage racers!
Ulissi and Uran were good but not great.
This all said your team looks well set for PT racing at the moment compared to the other teams. Guys like Marquez, Van Stayen and the Oz Cycling thugs can dominate down in the PCT but not sure how good they will be in the PT without some significant signings. Meanwhile you can make another one or two good signings and you will be very competative.
