Daniel Whitehouse signs with Rapha Condor JLT with immediate effect. He seems to have a bit of climbing talent and is only 19.
John Herety the Rapha Condor Team Manager always seems to find some good talent in Australia and New Zealand |

Geraint Thomas with talks with 5 teams, one obviously being Sky. Says it's good to look at different options. Decision whether he resigns with Sky or goes likely this week.
Although doesn't mean it will go into the open quickly, probably after Tour.

Decent puncheur from what I've seen of him. Very impressive in the Tour de Bretagne too, but I can't see him turning pro next season unless he has an amazing season end. Only 19 this year though. |

Not a clue how this one will turn out. Assuming Sky have enough money to throw around with EBH leaving to keep him onwards, especially after they finally got a decent classics campaign together. But he might take someone less focused on tour racing. Either way he should get a very healthy looking bank balance out of it

Or maybe tomorrow he announces that he stays with Sky.

In other Sky news Ben Swift has offers from Belkin and Orica with Belkin saying he would be allowed to do the track in the next Olympic cycle should he so desire. |

So a mass exodus at Sky, with riders being on either huge 5 year contracts or 3 years from 2011, when people realised Sky were good. And before they got too good...

Can't see it, even if they go for Bouhanni that would leave him 2nd best sprinter easily in the team. And with his results this season Sky will want to resign him for sure.

He's got an option to turn pro in 2015 in his contract. |

I'm basically re-quoting from his club there's the option at sky but there the other two on the table he's getting a pay-rise whatever he does it's just if he wants to move on basically. |

Hmm... EBH was Brailsford's big idea (and my favourite rider) and Swift was bought out of his contract Katusha style. I'm not sure.

I heard White talking about it on the Giro broadcast here and he didn't say he would be making a announcment in the next few weeks. They asked if they had plans to sign a GC contender and he said they were talking to someone in the next few weeks and it would get announced later in the year

Something I always wanted to know: Are the loans (such as Football ones, Man-Game too) allowed in cycling? I've never seen something like this, so I guess the answer is no, but why not?

Bouhanni recently said it's 50-50 for him at FDJ.
Main reason to go is (of course) Démare. They don't go along well, being too different. Bouhanni says he would launch a sprint for Démare if he didn't feel good but Démare wouldn't. In another recent interview Démare stated he couldn't feel happy (nor would Bouhanni, according to Démare), if they were part of the same race and the other one won.

Nothing (that I've heard of) recently, a team would rather buy a rider's contract from another team.
From memory, it happened in the early 90's though. IIRC Ronan Pensec was loaned to another team at some point (I believe Novelli was either his original team or his destination team). |
