Bellis should have done more than a 8th in that group I think.
Really need him to bring some results here to save that race.

Rocchetti did great... Unfortunately so did Meiji
Still, 2nd when your goal is first pays well I suppose so 2+2 near misses isn't bad. Hope we can hold on or even nick this though. |

Flügel at second in GC, Preidler and Kessler well placed to score some extra points. Great stage for me

Schreurs where he should be. I'm full of high hopes before stage 3, prepared to have them crushed |

Didn't expect Lorenzetto to be so far back this day. All my hopes on the final 2 stages to get some points in.

You shouldn`t have jinxed it.
This race really sucks for most teams here. |

Ok in my book, as it's not going too great for Cisco and CSC . It's going to be soooo close.

Okay, looking better for Jiao now. A Top-10 would be great, also for the Asian Rankings. Now to avoid any drama in the remaining stages, please.

Nice win for Froome but disappointing that the 2nd HC hill stage race - like the first (South Africa) - is not exactly being contested by the best puncheurs in the field.
And how bizarre that Froome and Dowsett are now on the same time on GC, despite their various mishaps.

It's a mystery. Can't feel any other than sorry, yes, as it's obviously no planning mistake but simply a consistent crap of "performing".. Still remember his Manx Int result, where wouldn't even try to join the crucial moves.

WTF Flugel?!?! If it wasn't for Kessler and Preidler he would've been a dead man. Anyway, if these results stay I will get right over 200 points for this race, which should give me a good shot at going past Bpost and Prio during Japan Cup

Thanks CIO fir the reports on a bizarre sort of hilly race ( PCM 12/11 ness).
As some have pointed out already a slight stalemate in some of the team standings but VW as ever enjoy coming from behind. Dirty German bastards!

Actually my plan to finish strong this season, as I felt I fell down the rankings last month last season

Damn it. How did Schreurs manage to screw up this bad? Didn't expect a win or anything, but losing more than 2 minutes is way too much. |

Great consistency by Wang. Let's hope he can hang on to that top 10 GC.
Long and well written report Cio, thanks! |

I sadly couldn't finish the report today and I'm away all day tomorrow, so you'll get both of the last two stages on Saturday if everyone can cope with the tension
