Right, the bonuses are still to be decided. They will be given to the 15 teams with the most budget left. The team with the most budget left will be given a more attractive bonus than the 14th team with the most budget left. In the event that multiple teams finish on the same budget leftover they will each receive the same prize.
Feel free to recommend which bonuses I should give out, I will add them later today. It is unlikely that the main stats will be changed by more than 1 point (otherwise it was pointless putting the likes of Petacchi in there and seriously devalues the 'money' do expect heavy upgrades for the secondary stats though (STA, RES, REC, FGHT and maybe TT).
@ Cycleman123 - Well you said at one point 'Mizbani (5th) gets our best result so far.' Even though Sutton already had multiple podium finishes...... That ain't active..... I have added you though.
@ welker3257 --- I don't think you even noticed you had three stage wins....... But as you posted again I will add you.
@ sammyt93 - I aim to start the transfer period on Monday/ Tuesday so there is plenty of time for that today and tomorrow. |

A 'transfer thread' will be opened on Monday/Tuesday (In the story games section).
The riders in the transfer period are in Post 5 and the route is in post 4. |

The bonuses for the 15 teams with the most budget left at the end of the transfer period:
Bonuses for teams (1= most budget left)
1. ALL RIDERS + 2 STA, + 2 RES, + 1 TT, + 1 REC, + 25 UC points
2. 2 riders + 2 Cob + 1 FLT, + 1 STA
3. 30 UC points
4. 2 riders + 1 MNT, + 1 HILL, + 2 REC
5. ALL RIDERS + 1 FLAT, + 1 ACC, + 1 STA
6. 20 UC points
7. 1 RIDER + 2 TT, + 1 FLAT
8. 2 Riders + 2 FLAT, + 1 FIGHTER
9. 15 UC points
10. 1 Rider, + 1 FLAT, + 3 FIGHTER, + 1 COBBLES
11. Whole team + 2 FIGHTER
12. 10 UC points
13. 1 Rider + 1 MNT, + 1 REC
14. 5 UC points
15. 1 Rider + 2 Resistance + 1 Recovery

would it be possible to take a bonus lower rated than the one you got?
f.e. i would be the one with second most budget left and think that the 30 UC Points are more worthy than the +2 on cobbles for two riders?

@ knockout - It won't work like that. If, for some reason, you really want a particular bonus you can always just end up with a budget which might be around that figure.
When I do open up the transfer thread (in the story games section) please only use that thread for 'bidding'. If you have any questions write them in this thread.

Pot 2 riders:
After the transfer period we will move on to the serpentine draft. Every team will get three riders from pot 2 (like in TOTC4) before we move onto pot 3.
Pot 3 riders will be released later and are pretty much the same as the Pot 3 riders in TOTC4. |

No, it was just for the case I end up with a bonus i do not like that much so i hoped to get a less worthy bonus in that case but okay...

Pot 3 riders:
Every team will get three riders from this pot. Some teams may get up to 6 riders depending on how many riders they acquired in the transfer period. The riders are mainly the same Pot 3 riders from TOTC4.

TOTC5: Position guessing game.
At the end of each stage I will state a position in the top 20 and you have to guess which rider finished there based on the report. Multiple people can guess the same rider if they wish. You are allowed one guess per stage, if you guess correctly you will receive 5 UC points.
You have a minimum of 3 hours before I will disclose the correct answer, I will disclose the correct answer ANY TIME after 3 hours have passed.
If you guess the correct rider:
2 stages in a row: you receive 10 UC points on the stage
3 stages in a row: '' 15 UC points ''
4 stages in a row: '' 20 UC points ''
5 stages in a row: '' 25 UC points ""
If you do a team presentation to a high standard you will receive 15 UC points before the racing starts. IN TOTC4 presentations from Jesleyh, Atlantius, Cycleman123, Shonak, mvhoogdalem, Dippofix and Ollfardh are good examples of good presentations which would have been awarded with 15 UC points.
The transfer thread opens tomorrow and will close next Saturday @ 21:00 GMT. So try to be on the site at around 20:50 next Saturday.
