@Alak
Well, I know they have good players and such, but they just completely sucked in the friendly with 'us'.
Though I know, it's just a friendly...

All the African teams look better on paper than in reality so therefor Croatia and Bosnia.
Imo are Chile a real dark horse. Better than many people think they are.
England will draw Italy and Uruguay and then win their last game against Costa Rica. Italy to lose against Uruguay so therefor they will be third. Really hard group to guess though.

I wonder if I can quickly join a professional team, then play for Australia in the World Cup next year. I'd probably be our best player ! Maybe I'll wait 'till 2018 (I'm 13)
You'd be close to the best player yeah. Interesting to see how Australia does with the new manager in place. Hopefully more than route one football...
Apart from Australia I'll be cheering for a Brazil - Germany final.
They should play a more attacking game with this manager, every team he has been in charge of always scores goals, I wouldn't expect to much from them here and with any luck they will pick a side with a eye on the future as the side is in desperate need of rebuilding.
I voted Brazil and would like to see them win at home, the Germans will go close and Colombia could go a long way

No way Chile is a real dark horse for me.
I know they're good, but definitely not a contender for the WC at all to me.

I can see them going to the semi finals. They do have some great players in Medel, Vargas, Isla, Vidal and Sanchez with many others and if they are playing on top of their game and with some luck they can go far. |

I dont see them going through the group stage. With 2010 finallists Spain and the Netherlands in their group it going to be tough.

They played well against England recently (won 2-0), but that doesn't say much I guess |

Well, I don't. There are about 10 teams that I'd give a higher chance of reaching the semi's

Totally right. By now it's no news that Belgium is good and could come very far. We all know it by now and we all expect them to come far. They are no dark horse anymore.

Yes they are ofc
But they wouldn't make it further than, say, 7th on that list though...

Why are you guys so pessimistic about Netherlands? They qualified pretty easily for the World Cup and your team has one of the best coaches there is, van Gaal. Plus, if Robben comes back from his injury in January and reaches his general form of 2013, he has the abilities to shoot Netherlands to the world cup all on his own.

Well, the attacking part is great, the midfield is good, but the defence is lacking and there's no good goalkeeper either.
No certainities in terms of who plays in the defence either, but there is just no best options, most aren't good, especially in the center.
And I realise most of the choices are from Feyenoord(my favourite club), but they aren't ready to play for a Elite World Cup Contender yet. Neither are most of the other choices, maybe Ron Vlaar, but he's not world-class at all.
I believe most of the guys that have played in our defense are still eligible to play in younger national squads
@SSJ2Luigi Well, that's too pessimistic, we can have Australia for sure

Agree with Italy, ahead of England, and with Netherlands over Chile

Yeah you may be right about Mexico, but still think that Bosnia won't make it through.
Nigeria has some real talent coming up, ready too shine.
