Di Luca suspended for life
I knew he couldn't go unpunished for calling his son Luca. Now it's only McEwen to go.
But seriously, great news!

Because of Bianchi's famous celeste blue colour. |

Yes, but hopefully we won't see that color too much on the jersey. It just wouldn't go well with the green and black of belkin.

This isn't really news but an interesting graph nonetheless. This shows the number of drug tests in selected major sports relative to each other:

Look at football.
Bet there's a lot more doping to be found there than in poor cycling
Also basketball, I reckon. |

I think football is like that because, last I heard at least, FIFA had not signed up to the WADA code in full, so there would be very few tests. But I also think they should have a look into sports like tennis.

It could be interesting to have the number of professional athletes to compare to the number of tests to see just how out of balance it is...

So surprising that Spain and spanish clubs are best at sports that have so little pices.

That is so true and why did that Spanish Judge insist on all those blood samples getting destroyed

Anyway I think this document is the source, though I can't quite figure out what table they have used for the graph/what they did with the numbers as Football has 485 blood test and Cycling 643 according to the main table showing number of tests in olympic sports. Football has about 8.000 more urine tests than cycling.
Still a huge difference compared to the number of athletes (haven't been able to find that number anywhere).
https://www.wada-ama.org/Documents/Res...ort-EN.pdf
In the funny department: Thailand Weightlifting Federation performed 46 GC/C/IRMS test and managed to find 1 clean athlete
Edit: Found it. It's Blood passports analyzed rather than actually blood samples.

Not sure who I was arguing this with, but as I stated around two months ago (:-P), Procycling Stats states that Henao will be riding Tour this year. Ardennes first major goal. Mallorca, Oman, Tirreno, Vasco, Ardennes, Dauphine, Tour
Tour team likely: Froome, Porte, Nieve, Henao, Kennaugh, Kiryenka, EBH, Thomas, Eisel / Stannard
Nibali might as well do Giro :-P

Riders like Nieve wouldn't want to be helpers though. He has the quality to be a leader or at least Co-Leader.

If he wanted to be a leader he shouldn't have to go to Sky. (Athough it could be his only option but I'm not sure about that)
