Yay another victory. What a move from Ventoso!
Can't believe how he turned from the shittiest rider on the team to one of the most reliable ones in the past couple of months. Maybe I should just rehire him as a stagiare next season.
Now just hold that yellow till the end

Same sentiments here, except Gavazzi has been my best rider ever. If nothong bad happens in the last stage we stay in competition for that 25th spot in the PCT standings!

Extremly good race for us! Really happy!
3 man in top 10 of the GC, Kreder doing great in several stages with good win on the last stage!
Thanks for the reports Smowz! |

Thanks again smowz. Well it looks like we got about the same points haul as Rothaus which is pretty great for us given they had Bellis here. This promotion battle could go down to the wire.

Really a weird race...Last season Bellis always was seen as sprinter. This year he isn`t really going for the sprints...
The 9th is surely a disappointment and I might be out of promotion now when I don`t deliver big times in the remaining classics.
Still 9th, 11th, 20th and 22nd gives at least a few GC points even though I absolutely lacked in stage results...
Thanks for the reports Smowz. |

Terrible race, goal missed and no real great results. 8 wasted racedays.
Thanks for the reports, Smowz. |

Pleased to see this win being cashed. Mission more than accomplished here. Congrats to UPC and Swedbank, great race for them as well. Thanks for the fast paced reports Smowz.

It's interesting you mention that. I've lost countless points from Ventoso's first half of the season, where he would never deliver in flat-rated hilly races. It's impressive how random this version of PCM can be.

Completely agree. I was expecting Rothaus to widen their advantage to you here, but with this result the fight becomes more and more tense. Rothaus has the points advantage but Bpost's race-day leverage may give you the edge you need. Much depends on Gautier's legs.

Nice to get the KoM jersey out of the race after the worst luck of all for my GC leaders. I suspect I had a GC goal here though, which will have been written off.
Very big race for UPC, a good turnaround for them when added to other teams struggling in America. Swedbank also some to be moving away from any danger. And I wonder how high Prio can get?
Roturn - is Bellis a better sprinter than Iglinski and Van Heerden? That could be a limiting factor, other than just PCM12 itself.

Bellis is not weaker than those two at least. But none of them have tried to sprint this race...So my team obviously wasn`t interested to do something. |

Solid final 2 stages by Gavazzi, much needed indeed!. Too bad Kreder overtook us on the last day, but with Haussler dropping out it doesn't really matter (hopefully).
The battle is heating up and our last race this month will be Wanze-Arenberg. A good score there will be a huge step for preservation in the PCT as most of our opponents didn't score enough in the US. But a bad result means we won't cover the points they did get.

This. Perfectly describing countless of my reactions with PCM12...
Commiserations, that was a tailor-made race for Bellis in theory.
Forgive me if I can't imagine how the rankings look like now after catching up on like 15 races today, I really hope you still have a shot at promotion.
Would be awesome to race alongside Rothaus in PT (that said, I feel like I jinxed our survival already months ago...... )
