I just want to let everyone know that there is an issue with the stages. The initial plan was to use stage 5 for stage 2 as well due to narrow roads but it turns out stage 5 has the same problem. I am trying to find a replacement that is roughly similar. I just wanted to let everyone know what the delay was.
This race might be haunted.
Was worried you forgot about the race Thanks for letting us know, makes the waiting easier
Next thing this race causes your entire PC to crash
it's got to cause him to have to do a full reinstall of PCM before it does that.

Okay so here is the best solution that I can come up with. To replace stage 2 we will use Stage 17 from the Giro because both of them have a single climb and then finish on a descent:

To replace stage 5 we will use stage 14 from the Cyanide 2010 Giro (Gio_v3_cyanide_2010 in the PCM Daily DB) because they are both one long climb with a descent and then some flat before the finish.
I haven't seen if stage 6 has narrow roads (my gut says yes) but if it does I'll have to think of something for that too.

2 riders in the break, third on the stage, third on the GC, Leading the young rider's standing's and our home town hero in the KOM jersey.
All in All a Brilliant stage from us, hopefully we can defend those here and pick up some big points towards the Asia Tour rankings as the PCT teams we are fighting there seem to have been scoring heavily recently.

Uhm... yep... Atleast we were mentioned a lot this stage.
And this can't be the same Polivoda as the on who missed the time cut in the Middle East Tour, right?

Urgh. Sarmiento was great until he reached the summit. Hope for more of the same. |

Disappointing from Abdallah. I guess the climb took its toll...

Second place today is great news, and Alizadeh continues to show he's on form with that seventh place.
Alizadeh should be able to defend his podium spot, and hopefully he can attack Moreno and overhaul the gap to Esquivel for the win but it will be a tough ask.

What a great coup from Cadburys again!
Seen this sort of slow motion sprint a few times in 3d, it is basically an AI fail. But we'll take it and besides the sprinting in previous pcms was worse!
Nice to see this cursed race moving here!

A more regular sprint stage, good to see a nice active team like MTN get a stage win as opposed to the crappy Cadbury's morons which is a Smowz part time project.

Good to see MTN win, and BNCR doing well as active teams. I'd rather Esquivel didn't win though, as that would dent or promotion hopes even further. |

Sohrabi doing good so far, as does Yeung and Bakhin with their aggresive riding. Will follow the rest of the race with huge interrest even though the point haul for us here is going to be rather limited |

Happy to have walked away with a win. I was quite disappointed with the performances on the previous flat stages. Hopefully we can hold on to green, but I fear with Moreno only 1 point behind, we're unlikely to keep it. Hopefully Rodas can pull off another good ride and get onto the GC podium and win a stage - that would be ideal
Thanks FD and Smowz And thanks Count for an awesome report!

A decent race for us so far - Speirs doing okay in the sprints and Naibo still in the hunt for a solid GC placing
Thanks for the reports Count

I would just like to note that while there were narrow roads on this course, I was very carefully watching the whole time and I didn't see any blocking at all, which is what usually causes problems here.
