Nobody likes Chris Horner
In a recent poll conducted by Team NetApp - Endura, studies showed that nobody, meaning exactly 0 % of the world population, will cheer for Chris Horner at the Amgen Tour of California. Not even Chris Horner himself, or his wife! Most interviewed people had several reasons for their dislike of the american Persona non grata; for example Chris Horner's bad breath, his weird alien-like winning pose and his obnoxious twitter updates.
Chris Horner’s manager has apparently motivated his American rider to take at least a podium place. They sent a clear signal of rivalry towards the german-based Team NetApp – Endura, who has rightful hopes for the overall victory.
This – in no-way sponsored or manipulated research by Journalist X for Team NetApp – Endura – will motivate the team even further to beat the American favourites in the upcoming race in May. Teammanager Luttenberger has assured us that he was at first a bit nervous by the prospect of racing against a fully loaded Radioshack bandwagon, but dealing only with Chris Horner should be manageable.
Amgen Tour of California organizers are yet to comment on the publicity-gathering stunt that will surely bring some further headlines & interest to the build-up for their exciting race.
"It’s a little bit scary when Contador attacks." - Tommy V

Hello Radioshack fans and other non-fans who still decide to read this. It's me: Naveed. After a dream start in Langkawi I lost my publicity. I have been asked to review the first part of the season. For myself, it was great to wear the leaders jersey in Malaysia. It was something I had never expected. Hopefully I can do even better in the future. About the team: it was absolutely fantastic seeing Fabian winning in San Remo. It brought a fantastic party here, and I hope to be able to celebrate for way longer.
For part 2, I'd really like to ride in Luxembourg. I have a good prologue and sprint and am capable of bringing more successes. Hopefully I'll also get to ride some races in the WorldTour. The team should also do well in part 2. Hopefully Fabian can win on the Velodrome again.
All in all, I'm really enjoying Radioshack. The team is very nice to a rookie like me, and hopefully I'll be good enough to win a classic for this team in the future.
Naveed Alinejad

Kim Po-ding is going to beat Horner, Van Garderen and all other challengers!
(and I can't believe this race is the biggest discussion of season part 2 )
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

BMC can concur with the above study, having carried one out themselves. Our study found that everyone in the world, even your mum, would much rather a young, talented rider with hair who does not have a dodgy history with needles should win California. Infact, almost 90% said Van Garderen was their favourite, with the rest saying Talansky and one crazy fool who thought Phinney could win the GC. That crazy fool was Carlton Kirby.

The FDJ Management is confused where all the buzz about Horner has come from? He's 41 and has no real big result in a number of years, so why he's being talked about as a big name favorite for a sizable race is perplexing. I mean, then way other people are taking about him you'd think he won La Vuelta!

If there is one thing we at RadioShack prides ourselves on it is defending and looking after our riders. We are prepared to take legal action on any person or persons who have unjustly smeared the name of one of our riders on grounds of libel and deformation of character. Rest assured those responsible will feel the full wait of the hammer of justice crash down upon them as we have assembled a quality team of lawyers.....
In other news we are very happy with the progress of Alinejad. The Iranian is fitting in exceptionally well here and we expect to hang on to him for the foreseeable future. He can expect to lead us at the tour of Norway and he can expect to lead us in the sprints at the tour du Luxembourg as he shares leadership with Andy Schleck.
---- In order to make the name of Chris Horner synonymous with greatness, expect an advertising campaign to start shortly!
-- TMM, all that is tosh. Looking at his results he has been pretty much in the top 10 of every major stage race he has taken part in since the 2010 tdf. So we wouldn't be surprised if he will 'go on' to win the Vuelta, especially as that race may have a 'lesser' start list. |

Some of the RadioShack team could been seen crossing the Strait of Gibraltar on route to the Atlas mountains in Morocco in preparation for the mountainous terrain of many races in EPIC Part 2.
Robert Kiserlovski and Andy Schleck really benefited from the trip and look more capable and confident as a result. Young Iranian sprinter, Alinejad, also came along and did struggle in the terrifying terrain, but he is stronger because of it.
Here are some pictures from the 'adventure'....
.....
....
Alinejad sure did appreciate the lessening terrain on the final day when the mountain bikes were out.
With riders in shape we at RadioShack look forward, quietly confident, to a very productive Part 2.

EPIC part 1 was superb for Fabian Cancellara. He won Milan San Remo and was there or thereabouts in the cobbled races on offer and finished 4th at the European championships. The summation of this means he currently sits second in the rankings, but this ....... is just the beginning.
In part 2 everything has been arranged so Fabian can get a shot at putting in one of the most dominant and memorable performances over the races he competes in. He aims to win in Flanders and Roubaix in addition to targeting multiple stage wins in other races. If all goes to plan ..... this will be a legendary era of EPIC of the rarest kind. |

Greetings western people I am of course Yahya Firouz, but you knew already that. Everyone knows I be the 2nd best Iranian cigarette salesman in western Tehran. Finally, after much time Iran has a superstar to be, he rides for the humble RadioShack and is of course, Naveed Alinejad.
I will shower him with my love, rabbit's foot and tobacco so he will then market my products to you westerners. So yes, yes! Down to business. I am not to release this yet, but I am always first to market no matter what Mahmood says! That Kuwaiti scum! So allow me to present to you Naveed's racing plan for Part 2:
-- Tour de Romandie
-- Quatre jours de Dunkerque
-- Tour of Norway
-- Philadelphia International
-- Tour de Luxembourg
There we go! Remember if you want Hookah and the second best cigarettes Tehran has to offer follow Alinejad's journey and buy Firouz's Finest, available at all good Iranian retailers. Asheghetam! |

Although it is a bizarre proposition we are interested in extra sponsorship, so thank you Mr Firouz. You may be interested to know Naveed recently did some training in the Atlas mountains and he looks more adept because of it.

Furious Fabian Foiled at Flanders
This picture says it all.
Fabian Cancellara had some bad luck at the tour of Flanders. He was blocked multiple times on climbs such as the Paterberg which resulted in him missing many moves in the race. But that wasn't his biggest problem. The biggest problem was the likes of Pal and Sagan, who were capable, who just on Fabian's wheel making him do all of the work.
Although we didn't achieve our goal of a podium place we are satisfied with Fabian's 5th place finish. given how the race unfolded. We congratulate BMC who were worthy winners of the race and didn't employ vile tactics.
1) G Van Avermaet 7'07'48
5) F Cancellara + 5'05
22) G Rast + 10'22
51) S Devolder + 15'28
56) H Roulston s.t
58) T Gallopin + 16'15
76) Y Popovych + 17'48
139) J Sergent + 27'18
Expect revenge at the upcoming Paris Roubaix. Where 'A podium is a must'. |

Congratz for 5th place. We hope, we can expect something similar in France. See you there.

Hello world,
After a disappointing result for Fabian in the cobbles I'll hopefully be able to compensate it. I have no specific goals for the coming months, but I do expect to finish on the podium 3 times. Hopefully I won't disappoint.

- Than you Naveed. Anything like that and we will be thrilled.
Robert Kiserlovski takes our third win of the EPIC era, not counting the continentals, with a great late attack on stage 4 of the tour of Basque country. He attacked in the latter half of the stage with favourite Sami Sanchez and rode him off the wheel in the testing terrain and just held off a select group of favourites to hold on for a super win. Paris Roubaix is now a distant memory. Kiserlovski has made significant improvements since that start of the season and it is showing.
This win ensures that we are one of 2-3 teams to score points in every race we participate in. |

Fabian Cancellara had a rare off day at Paris Roubaix, saying afterwards ' I was suffering from a cold'. He did put in multiple attacks on the stage but was no match for the competition due to his illness. He would finish 13th on the stage.
1) S Vanmarcke 6h02'17
13) F Cancellara @ 1'31
20) G Rast @ 2'37
48) H Roulston @ 5'42
64) G Nizzolo @ 11'08
65) D Hondo @ 11'08
75) T Gallopin @ 11'08
83) Y Popovych @ 11'48
96) S Devolder @ '12'35
Yes, it is me again your humble servant Yahya Firouz! That Naveed Alinejad, he sure is a modest Persian. He won't set precise goals for himself, but no worry, I will. Here they are:
- Tour de Romandie - 1 Top 10 Finish
- Quatre jours de Dunkerque - Help Gallopin to podium GC
- Tour of Norway - 2 Podiums
- Philadelphia International - Top 20
- Tour of Luxembourg - 1 podium
Good luck Naveed with these goals. Asheghetam! |
