This time, just in short - Gianni Meersman took down the GC at the moment in Australia!!! But it's not all over, we have to concentrate for the last stage.

We have reached our goal!
As title says - by grabbing the first place in GC in Australia, we reached goal countered by our sponsor, which is really awesome, despite the fact, that our biggest pre-race hope Sylvain Chavanel had a terrible race. But Gianni Meersman was more than better replacement, as he managed to win whole race! Hats off Gianni.
The leader jersey for TDU is already in our trophy room

After great time in Australia we are ready for another race - Tour of Qatar. As we promised to the race organisers, we're sending there our best and looking for some stage hunt as well as top GC position. With two former winners and incredible TT squad we are the top favourites there.

Tom Boonen
Tony Martin
Bert Grabsch
Gert Steegmans

Meh... Poor Coquard...
It's a bit overkill indeed, I don't think there should be need to let Cav & Martin waste racedays in the desert

As you know, we were totally dominant in Qatar, thanks to our great performance in the team time trial. But actually there are some issues we must solve. The main thing is - our performance is incredibly idiotic, when we are over-confident and we want to show our domination to the others. As you can see on this picture this happened when we chased hard in the last stage.
Chasing hard in front, but Cavendish is far back
Terrible placing of our team in the last stage
After all, this was just cosmetic issue and we hope it won't happen again. Just to sum up Mark Cavendish won, we crushed the oppostition by seven racers in TOP10 and pleased the race organisers by our squad. At the moment whole team is back in the Belgium (except team bus driver) and looking forward to races on our home soil - Omloop and Kuurne-Brusel-Kuurne.

Good gamble to put so much on Qatar, hope you won't struggle with racedays later on

We have it pretty balanced, anyway, we don't care about Vuelta for example

If you list through Tommeke's palmares, there was only one cobbled classic you wouldn't find. Yes, it's incredible, but Tommeke never won Omloop Het Nieuwsbald until now. After years of hardship he was really hot and aimed for this race, and thanks to great work of our team he was able to prove, that he is the strongest cobbler in the world.
Tom Boonen celebrating his first Omloop win
After Tom's win, I was full of confidence that guys will be motivated for next day, when Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne was held. But actually they disappoint, even though Å tybar tried his best in late part of the stage, we didn't achieve nothing less than total defeat there.

After great start in France, our second squad is heading Italy and aiming succes, but more modest than in France, where we are looking for podium. TOP 10 will be nice, as Tony Martin will share his leadership with Peter Velits. Also we are really looking for win in TTT, ITT and at least one flat stage.
