Jordan: Romandie isn't currently on the cards, but the Dauphine is, I have posted Conti Champs startlist if you want to check it out. You are in the TT.
Thomas: The plan is simple for Conti Champs, ATTACK. Anyone can attack when they want to, and after a few moves they will help everyone else. I say this since everyone in the team is very similar in Hill ability.
Pierre: Good to see you here. Your grammar isn't too bad, and I'm sure it will improve over time. I think you are going great, and you should be able to get a great result in the Dauphine in June.
Fabrizio: Just keep your head held high and do your best. Results will come.

To the management and certain riders of Cofidis
In our evergoing effort to promote cycling in the "extended Basque country" meaning Euskadi, Navarre and Aquitaine the management of Euskaltel - Euskadi have decided to host a Basque race series taking place with one race in each season break.
That means that someone on your team is eligeable to take part.
Since we respect that riders are bound by their contracts we want you to have the final word in whether or not they may take part They will off course ride in their usual team kit.
The lineup will consist of as many professionals as possible as well as a talent-team from each of the three regions.
The route will vary slightly from race to race but the first edition will be held on the route used for Clásica San Sebastián.
Your eligible riders are:
Egoitz GarcÃa
To take part all you have to do is confirm your participation below or by PM.
Sincerely
Alaon Etxeberdea

Hey Boss,
Having seen the full calendar for the next part, I wish to discuss my schedule. Knowing that I will be riding Le Tour, I think Bayern Rundfahrt and the Dauphiné would be ideal preparation for me, both having long ITT's in them. Other than that, I don't mind, but I think that I should save the remaining racedays for later in the season. I make that 46 days including Le Tour, leaving me with 16 days for the remaining 3 months of the season.

Hey everyone, just thought I'd give you one more update before I go off on my spring break. You see, my next race isn't until the end of May, which is quite weird I suppose, but you have to make sacrifices if you're going to ride Le Tour otherwise I'd be too tired to even finish the race.
Anyway, I just got back home from the Netherlands where I took part in the European ITT Championships for Cofidis. I've proved myself over shorter distances already this season, with a podium finish in Paris - Nice and fourth in Crit. Int. but this was my first long ITT as a pro. I tend to consider myself better the longer the TT but this was one of my worst days on a bike.
I was already tired before I set off - I don't know why, I'd had a good night's sleep - but my legs were like cement. Just "one of those days" as us cyclists call them. My form is good as I'd shown in Corsica but I just had a bad day. Anyway, I finished 18th, over three minutes down on Wiggo, so it's not looking good for the NC's ().
But it wasn't all bad for the team as young Arblaster showed his potential, finishing five seconds ahead of me in 16th. Not particularly good for me, mind, but I'm sure that he and the team are happy with that. The other two guys were down in the 40's somewhere. I'm not doing the road race so I've come back home for a short rest before I get back down to some serious training in the Alps.
Back to my schedule, you won't be seeing much of me now. As I said, my next race is the Bayern Rundfahrt in Germany at the end of May, and then I'll be doing the Dauphiné as the final preparation for the NC's and Le Tour de France. Hopefully, the Dauphiné team will be eight of the nine guys that will be doing the Tour, so that we can get to know each other properly, because Le Tour will certainly give us all a good kicking!
Anyway, all that's left is for me to say good luck to my team mates in the Continentals and throughout the next few months.
Allez Cofidis

European Road Race Team
- Pierre De La Montagne
- Daniel Navarro
- Rein Taaramae
- Nicholas Edet
- Romain Hardy
- Thomas Schwabe
- Petre Lixandru
- Luis Angel Mate
- Jerome Coppel
The plan is simple. Attack. The team would be happy with a top 10, at worst two guys in the top 20.

Disappointing Championships For Cofidis
The Continental championships came to a close with the European Road Race. Team Cofidis was looking for a top 10, but only ended up with one rider on the top 20; Nicholas Edet in 20th. They also failed to get a rider in the break. It ended up being a disappointing race for the French PCT team

Okay guys,
i know that everybody of you hoped i could perform much better in the European Road Race Championship but the fact is: I couldn't get onto the podium. I wanted to explain it very detailed here but some guy from our team's office told me i wasn't allowed to blame any team member or manager as it was only a "disappointing race where we missed the needed luck" so I tell you a totally different story which has NOTHING to do with the race:
A few days ago, i saw an American Football game. The home team had a very strong quarterback who is one of his best of his league while his team mates are very average at best. But this quarterback couldn't pass as good as everyone expected from him because his offense line could not stop the defensiv players so he was sacked a few times.
Normally, you can't win a game when the offense isn't good but you still have the chance to win it with a super defense but if you tell everybody on the field to blitz then the opponent's quarterback can throw a quick pass and the one posession game turns into a two posession game.
The coach said after the game that the result was disappointing but i think it's his fault as the team had the wrong tactic and the quarterback did not got the support he needed to build up a strong passing game.
But enough of football.
To come back to the original topic: After i saw that i would not get into the position i needed to be to have a chance for a top 3 or at least a top 5 i gave up and slowed down.
Best wishes to all fans,
Thomas

Hey coach,
after reviewing our planned races i would like to lead our team in Bayern as it is always a pleasure to ride in Germany. Then I would like to (co-)lead in Trentino as the race profile fits my skills very good. And of course I would like to race the Amstel Gold Race where I can help the other team members so that they can support me in Le Tour!
Also, participation in Dauphine would be nice.
Thomas

Thomas: I think that is good except that maybe we should leave the Dauphine out of your racing this year. You had 14 race days last period, and 14 + 5 + 5 + 1 + 8 = 33 which would leave you only 12 race days after the Tour. If you really want a last tune-up before the Tour, maybe you could lead in Luxembourg.
