TIRRENO-ADRIATICO | STAGE 4 | MOUNTAIN

Finally, some action from the Tirreno. A mountain stage was scheduled, so we could see Bart's form early in the season. He didn't mix with the top guns, but we didn't expect that anyway. He finished 34th, 3 minutes behind Quintana (see picture).

No, just no. Bart needs to get better for absolute leadership. He jus can't keep up with the best. He finished 8 minutes behind the winner, Nibali (see picture). The GC-standings were missing for a few hours, but they were found eventually.

TIRRENO-ADRIATICO | STAGE 6 | SERIOUSLY

The only way we can do something about our performance here is to go into the break. But no, they are too lazy. And guess what? The break (See picture) managed to win the stage. And Bart lost even more time, finishing in the same group as Degenkolb Rolling Eyes.

PARIS-NICE | STAGE 6 | LURE

A mountain finish in France, with Jurgen still in the competition. Can he do something? Well, he finished fifth in today's stage, and moved up to fifth in the GC. Quite good, if you'd ask me. He could ride with the really big guys (see picture), like stage winner Chris Froome.

MILANO-SAN REMO | SECOND

And it's time for the first monument of this year. La Primavera, Milano-San Remo. We brought our 'classics' squad here, so you will see this names in the upcoming races as well. And they did great in OhN and KBK. Here are the names if you didn't know them yet:

Lars Bak
Gaëtan Bille
Jens Debusschere
André Greipel
Jürgen Roelandts
Marcel Sieberg
Jonas Vangenechten
Frederik Willems

Greipel is our man here, hoping the race will end in a mass sprint. There was a mass sprint here, and Greipel won it ahead of Sagan and Cavendish (see picture). Unfortunately, a guy called Cancellara was a minute ahead at the finish. Bille gets a honorable mention for sneaking into the morning break.

NOKERE KOERSE | BLOCKING

The traditional classics startlist for a Belgian semi-classic:

Lars Bak
Gaëtan Bille
Jens Debusschere
André Greipel
Jürgen Roelandts
Marcel Sieberg
Jonas Vangenechten
Frederik Willems

The race turned out to be a complete joke. 2 teams (Sky and Belkin) completely dominated, with 9 of the 10 riders in the top-10 being from them (see picture). Hayman won ahead of his teammate Boasson Hagen. Greipel was our best man in 22nd place.

PARIS-NICE | STAGE 8 | GOAL

The last stage here in France. Jurgen must defend his place in the GC, although he could still drop 5 places. He finished 7th in the stage, and only dropped to 6th in the GC. Which is still better than 10th place, which our sponsors asked for. Unfortunately, nobody took a picture of him, so we'll just show a picture of the GC-winner, Valverde.

VOLTA LIMBURG CLASSIC | BREAK

Yes, we have asked a wildcard for this small Dutch race. We did not send our big names, but we didn't expect other teams to do so either. Here's our startlist:

Dirk Bellemakers
Brian Bulgac
Gert Dockx
Joost van Leijen
Frederique Robert
Tosh van der Sande
Jürgen van de Walle
Pieter de Vries

We apparently underestimated the race, with Brouwer and Degenkolb participating. Our best rider was Jürgen, who finished 46th after spending the day in the break (see picture). The race was won by Iglinskiy after a solo attack.

Debut in Continental and World Tour

Hello,

It has been a few hectic months. First it was time to go on a trainingscamp with the team and pretty soon after that I would be making my debut at the Clasica de Almeria in Spain.

After that I was on a plane to Paris for my World Tour debut in Paris - Nice. It was a great experience, but I am not good enough yet to compete at that level.

Next up are more Spanish races, the Volta a Catalunya and the GP Indurain.

Bye for now,

~ Alex Fischer

E3 PRIJS VLAANDEREN-HARELBEKE | FAILED

One of our goals this season, so we send our traditionally strong classics squad:

Lars Bak
Gaëtan Bille
Jens Debusschere
André Greipel
Jürgen Roelandts
Marcel Sieberg
Jonas Vangenechten
Frederik Willems

We had to get a top-3 here. Roelandts decided to attack at the halfway mark (see picture), but he and his compagnions were caught. Boonen won the sprint, Cancellara second and........ Sagan third. Roelandts fifth. Not bad at all, but we missed our goal by inches. A shame.

GENT-WEVELGEM | GOAL

If you are stupid, or if you have just joined in, here is our startlist for another race in Belgium:

Lars Bak
Gaëtan Bille
Jens Debusschere
André Greipel
Jürgen Roelandts
Marcel Sieberg
Jonas Vangenechten
Frederik Willems

Our goal here is a top-10. The race came down to a mass sprint, with Andre in the front group. He highly disappointed, finishing third behind Sagan and Van Avermaet (see picture). But we did succeed our goal! A honorable mention for Bille, who made it into the break and managed to finish 15th!
