Hehe I have no idea what you are talking about Wacko? It's only the first 25-30 seconds where there are no singing... After that it's a basic song :-D
The lyrics are here:
C G7
When I need someone to call
Am F
I'm standing here with no one
C G7
Then I need you right here
Am G7 F
But it seems you don't care at all
Dm7 G7
Cause I hurt you tonight!
C F G7 Am
And I don't blame you, cause you're always right!
F G7 C
Tender Love - Tonight - I might!
C G7
I still remember that day
Am F
When you kissed me, and told me to stay
C G7
I was busy and said not today
Am G7 F
I regret whatever I say
Dm7 G7
Cause I love you so much!
C F G7 Am
But I never said it, you shine like the stars
F G7 C
Tender Love - I do - Love you
C G7
I know everything is my fault
Am F
Indeed my personally assaults
C G7
But you know it's my way to react
Am G7 F
When you don't seem to give me a crap
Dm7 G7
I told you; fuck off!
C F G7 Am
You just looked at me, and then you laughed!
F G7 C
Tender Love - Respond - Like that!
Dm7 bb F C
I made you cry, to many times
Dm7 Bb G7
I know that you left me, but don't!
Dm7 Bb F C
I will change, for what good will be
Dm Bb F G7 Am - G7 - F ->
Just as long as you will be with me - Yeaaaah Alright
C - G7 - Am - F - C - G7 - Am - G7 - F
Dm7 G7
Cause I love you so much!
C F G7 Am
But I never said it, you shine like the stars
F G7 F F G7 G7 -> C
Tender Love - I do - Love you
Never hated an instrument like I hated that thing. Still I have never had a musical bone in my body (like others). In seconday school, we played keyboards and stuff. The music books however were vandalized on a regular basis, especially ones dealing with pre and early 20th century music.
I believe this song is much more complete than the other. There are also much less mistakes in the song, not completely flawless, but higher quality imo.
Now I just need to record it somewhere better, so I can play guitar without getting noise on.
As I've said before, we have our disputes, but you can write/play/sing pretty darn effing well (in my opinion).
Other than getting the levels right for recording (the guitar needs to be slightly quieter as it sounds like the emphasis should be on the vocals rather than guitar, which is more just backing).
The only other thing I can pick out is that you can tell it's played by an amateur. That's not meant in a bad way, it's just the guitar playing (it's hard to explain what I mean) sounds like, at times, that you know it's there to back up your singing. With more practice I reckon you can forget that you're even playing the guitar and can put all your feelings into the singing. Which would make it sound top-notch. Again, good stuff, and hard to explain what I mean, but hopefully you'd gather what I do mean. Who knows! Keep it up.
Yeah I get what you mean I think... My guitar play isn't quite as smooth as it could be, I'm hardly playing anymore, so when I pick it up it's difficult for me to focus entirely on the song because I have to look at the guitar from time to another to get the right chords, so I definately get what you mean there. And good point indeed!
About the recording part it's difficult for me to change. I tried playing the guitar rythm in and then singing the song monitor (With headphones on, and recording singing only), but it get's quite hard to know exactly when to sing what when there's only the guitar plus it is almost impossible to improvise, which I do quite often when I sing... It's easier to put in an exra drum or so when playing than to have every phrase put into scales.
Atm i'm working on a christmas song, which I will try to have absolutely perfect by december and then put it in here
With the recording, if you got in a studio, it'd help a lot But not a lot of people have those resources or contacts. Still, for what you do, I'm impressed (not that that takes a lot )
I actually have very good contacts in comparisson to how little I know about music. Mainly because my gf's little brother is hugely talented and has equipment for about 80k € in his room He has an amplifier that's worth 5k € - That sums it up pretty much hehe...
But i'll definately try to record atleast the xmas song in his "studio" and get that extra bell sound mixed on, that can also hide small singing flaws
