I'm happy to introduce you my Christmas present!
The 1961 Database is a mod that allowes you to play with the 1961 cycling season
features:
- 52 teams
- 1000 cyclists
- Photos of all cyclists
- Real equipments
- HD shirts
- PCM 2013 format minimaillot
- Real faces for many cyclists (like Van Looy, Poblet, Gaul etc)
- 48 new stages and race as Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Berna World Championship, Giro di Sardegna, Milano - Sanremo, Giro di Lombardia, Trofeo Baracchi
- New backgrounds
There are also two new databases With these you can play with the best teams and best cyclist of the history after the war in a new race named Race of Champions.
- 2 databases
- 44 new teams and HD shirts
- Photos of all cyclists
- Real equipments
- Real faces for many cyclists (Armstrong, Pantani, Bartali, Riis, Coppi, Merckx, etc)
- New backgrounds
INSTALLATION

Download:
"Historical1961DB.rar": it contains all the graphics files and the stages
"Historical1961DB_documents.rar": it contains dbs, the starting lists and also a stage that has been missed from the first rar.
- Extract all the contents of "Historical1961DB.rar" into your Cyanide PCM 2013 Folder. If it is necessary, substitute the files.
- Then, open the Historical1960DB_documents.rar" file:
1. Extract the "Mod" folder in your "Documents>Pro Cycling Manager 2013" folder.
2. Extract the "Import" folder into your "Documents>Pro Cycling Manager 2013>Users>Yourname" folder
SOME TIPS
________
There are three db's:
Corsadeicampioni.cdb: that is the db with the best 22 teams of the history
corsadeicampioniNations.cdb: that is the db with 22 nations and their best cyclists
HistoricalDB1961.cdb: that is the cdb of 1961.
To choose one go into your Options menù
For a better result I suggest you to make a starting-list every time you want to run a stage.
For a better result I also suggest you to change some video settings: Into your graphic menù choose desaturate colors and put 0 in urban details (in this way you won't see the boards on the roadsides).
KWOWN ISSUES
____________
1. The career doesn't run: if you click on it the game will crash.
2. If you choose to race the Race of Champions or Giro d'Italia 1961, there won't be best cyclists.

Of course!
It could ask you to substitute several files, maybe stages if you already have those, but are the same. The only new file to subistite is the bodytipe of the cyclist, needed to see the head without a black bloid |
