Oman Stage 4
Not a long stage but the last kms will make some damage... the team will work for  R. Manotas.... lets see if we can keep 1 spot inside top 10 at least...
First break of the day with  E. Battaglin(BAR),
 F. Baraybar(Once),  D. Veilleux(EUC) and  M. Albasini(OGE)... strong breakaway here...
Escapees go throught 1st Int. sprint with 6´10" gap to peloton..
84kms to go, Garmin and Orica start to chase them back.. gap drops to 5´23"...
With the stage getting closer to the end, Lotto decides to attack with  F. De Greef... 2´15" to front group...
21kms... with F. De Greef caught,  G. Curran attacks but he too is brought back by peloton... escapees increase their gap to 3´20"...
By the 2nd Int. sprint the gap is still 3´24" and with only 10kms to go, they might do it...
Half climb done, D. Veilleux drops his breakaway mates.... but he will struggle up ahead...
.. and it´s E. Battaglin who enters last km first... Veilleux is tired...
M. Albasini,  C. Froome and F. Baraybar come behind...
... and Battaglin wins the stage... Baraybar finishes inside top 10 and R. Manotas makes 18th... now the question is: did he lost his top 10 spot or not?.. find it by yourself..

Great race by Baraybar and Manotas might have lost his 2nd place but still sits inside top 10... with one hilly stage and one flat, he might achieve one impressive result here in Oman..

Oman Stage 5
After i watched carefully stage5 profile, i came to the conclusion that today´s winner will have to possess the strongest legs.... we don´t have them for sure but we got a strong fighting spirit....
Didn´t have to wait long for the first attacks....  A. Kolobnev(KAT),  C. Kern(EUC),  H. Askari(TPT) and  M. Halmuratov(RTS) were the first ones.... few kms later,  D. Nerz(BMC),  J. Venter(MTN) and  C. Meyer(OGE) joined up.... strong breakaway on the run...
With 90kms to go, we take control of the pack... V. Generelo doesn´t seems too happy with this decision but what can he do? ... we mantain the gap by around 2´10"....
60kms, another attack... F. Wegmann(GRM), S. Locatelli(BAR), F. De Greef(LTB) and P. Van Olst(ONCE) try to catch up with front group... 1´16"gap..
40kms, 1st climb... Van Olst reach main breakaway group... peloton rides 2´40" behind... Once gives up from leading peloton..
At the downhill,  E. Boasson Hagen, C. Froome and  V. Kiryienka(all SKY), get away from the pack....we start immediatly to push peloton again...
.. and on top of 2nd climb we manage to bring R. Manotas back to Froome´s group... one special word goes to F. Baraybar wich carried Manotas all way up.... great.
Going down on 2nd climb, Katusha plays smart tactic here... their leader J. Rodriguez Oliver joins up with his team mate Kolobnev at the front.... Contador loose contact with main group... we might even climb on GC, Manotas must hang on here...
Last climb, Froome´s group catch up with Rodriguez but the spanish attacks right away... no one can respond to such a powerfull attack...12kms..
With only few meters to the finish line, J. Rodriguez Oliver starts to celebrate... well deserved...
He has the strongest legs today.... will this effort be enought to take Overall Lead?

Oman Stage 6 / Last Stage
Considered flat, this last stage might bring some surprises on those hills before finish line...
.. but firstly lets see who´s attacking...  F. Kuklinski(ONCE), R. Ememi(RTS), D. Kozontchuk(KAT),  A. Barbari(VCS) and I. Santaromita(BMC) form the break...
... up ahead, J. Venter(MTN) and G. Mizbani(TPT) join front group...
F. Kuklinski leads breakaway throught kom sprint... 6´03"gap...
We jump some kms in the race, 47kms to go, peloton drops breakaway gap to 2´32"...
Breakaway reach the 20kms banner... 1´09"gap...
6kms... the very same J. Rodriguez Oliver attacks and once again there is no response from no one...
We have R. Manotas good placed, but SKY has only S. Henao in front.... Froome is way back...
J. Rodriguez Oliver goes for victory...
Forrest Gump...
.. for the win... now how much time will Froome loose?
