Speith was good, and got better, but only up to a point. Bubba deserved it in the end - I was rooting for the two Scandis, Jimenez and Westwood, but Blixt couldn't buy a birdie, Bjorn and Westwood f***** it up(as ever) and the Mechanic got off to a very bad start.

I love how Mechanic is taking it easy, with rocking sunglasses and all that stuff, nice easy final pairing with Fowler, who is my favourite golfer together with Speith, Scott and Lefty...

Well, that is yards away, but as it is in Pinehurst, i tip Lefty to finally broke his incredible record of being runner up for five times. Tiger can be good too, if healthy and in decent form. Rest are usual suspects...

Actually with last year he has 6 second places now. Why win the US Open when you can get 2nd again?

So unofficial fifth major is coming this week, i always love that tournament, maybe more than majors (bar Augusta). PLAYERS have that special feeling and who would not love the 17th?
Who are your picks guys? I will go with obvious ones, combined with my favourite players, so Speith, Kuchar, Donald as my top three favourites. Also Garcia, Scott, Z.Johnson, Rory, Rose, Bubba and fedexcup leader Walker cannot be overlooked as always.
I am interested to see how players coming from Quail Hollow will do, for example great in 4th day Furyk, or champion Holmes (what a drives!). And there is also Lefty, with his unconsistent year so far, what he can do?
I will also follow my two favourite players in Fowler and Villegas, but i dont think any of them will get in top5 contention (i will be glad if i they will surprise me though)

Players better than three majors? Hmm... Mclroy for the other Open.

I really like the Players, it is about personal preference i would think. The Open (british) usually has too few water to play over to my liking.

Yeah, but it's a links. And it's in Britain, so we go every year... OK, I'm biased as well.

Really, really, really pleased for Kaymer. Brilliant performance, he won't go down in the books as one hit wonder that won on a technicality, and shows hard work isn't all for nothing.

Kaymer absolutely slaughtered the opposition at Pinehurst.
Second big win already. Great player , honestly not a big favourite of mine, but he is having a great year.
Nice to see Fowler rising from the poor season and get that tied 2nd. Compton is the big story, with his medical problems.

Anyone watching this PGA? Definitely more dramatic than the three other majors combined, McIlroy had the lead going into the final round, three putted a lot, falls back, in the meanwhile, Mickelson and Fowler going toe to toe, Stenson also in the mix quietly, and right when you thought McIlroy was out of it he eagles #10. Mickelson and Fowler currently tied for the lead after a big par save from Phil, Rory is one back.

Well we'll definitely know which cm cost Mickelson the win here? Bummer.
Told you.

Hmm. Rory's performance ended up being similar to British, struggles early but gets his shit together down the stretch. Nice to see them playing up on 18 to finish in time.
As for Phil, I think he'll have something to build on after quite a horrible season outside of the last two tournaments, to say the least. That being said age is catching up to him, when does he finally get that career grand slam

I missed the final 15! holes of Rory-Austrian pairing ( ) because of that storm or what was it, so i only saw beginning of the battle. I will have to find some footage today.Rory is on the roll!
Happy for Ricky Fowler in recent weeks, go Ricky!

First matchups of Ryder Cup not going well. Should've been 3-1 Europe if you had called it a day after 16 holes, ends up being 2 1/2-1 1/2 for USA.

Europe going up 5-3, really looking promising as they don't usually do good early in Ryder Cups...also Tom Watson getting alot of hate going with Phil/Keegan instead of Spieth/Reed
