Today is the king stage of Tour Down under, the only stage with a mountain finish. The route starts in Snapper points, before we head up Old Willunga hill(1st category) twice. I've been told by the team, that we are going to get Nicki up some places on this stage, but if I feel strong, I'll go for my own chances.

Here I am in my wonderful jersey at the start.

Already after 7.5 km driven, I saw the Willunga hill, but we were not going there yet.

Together with Sky, we kept the breakaway not far ahead from us.
Already with 36 km to go, the first favorites attacked.
But they were raced in in Willunga.

Together with Tanned I kept the pace high up the first climb, and 10 riders, including me, Tanner And Sørensen was in the lead. We were chased by Movistar, with Quitana in the front.

With 10 km to go, they had almost caught us, but I felt that my legs were fine. So when the pace in the group slowed down, we attacked, all three of us.

There were a lot of attacks up the hill, and I was very eager to join them, but my manager told me to keep the pace, and I did so. But when the sprint started, I was empty

Riders was passing me all over me. It was terrible to be back there and doing everything you could, but it wasn't enough.

I saw a Rabobank rider crossing the line first. I crossed the line, and some took me and pulled me away. I wake up in the team buss and hour later. The doors and the windows were closed. I was told to rest.

I woke later and went eating. I also watched the results, I had lost 25 sec on the 6 first riders, but I still had the overall lead with over 1'30 min, but Tanner had almost overpowered me and taken the lead

Great win last time! Now just stay at the lead. The gap is really close to Tanner.

Today's circuit stage in Adelaide in very flat, but it divides out 32 mountain points, so Mørkøv really have to get into a breakaway.

I've felt like I have shown off myself in the professional cycling world enough today, so I will just sit back, and not even try to attack or pull.
Mørkøv got in the breakaway together with seven other riders, including Pinotti, the second man in the climbing GC.

Mørkøv won both the sprints ans came second in all the climbs.

With 15 km left, a mass crash happened, again
¨
Cantwell was boxed, in the sprint, which was won by Nizzolo.
Top three:
Todays stage:
1. G. Nizzolo 2h01min34sec
2. V.Iglinsky
3. G. Steegmans
Overall:
1. Erik Larsen 19h51'02
2. David Tanner +4
3. Jerome Pineau +1'58
Moutain
1. M.Mørkøv 72p
2. M.Pinotti 52p
3. Carlos Barredo 20p
Points
1. M.Mørkøv 36p
2. M Pinotti 20p
3. C.Sutton 16p
Teams
1. Saxo Bank
2. BMC +3'43
3. Movistar +4'21
Erik Larsen also took the youth jersey

It's February now, and the races are coming in a line for me. I am heading into this month with the lead in the World Tour!! And I'll have it for the next month too, before Paris-Nice starts off.
I'll help Contador in Vuelta Mallorca, where he will only be to get into shape before The Ardeenes and the Tour. I am also wondering if I'll be in the Tour, too support Contador in the mountains. Because, we'll just try to win the climbing jersey in Italy

Finally I am going to race again. It's in beautiful Mallorca now. The race contains two flat stages and two hilly stages. Out mission is to get Contador in the yellow in four days. By the time I am in Mallorca, an other part of the team is going to Qatar.

Here is the team. Haedo will try to win these first two races, but it will be hard for him.

When I was looking on the captains for this race, I saw some of the best cyclists. Gilbert, Iglinsky, Anton, Scarponi, Kruijswijk, Greipel, Visconti, D. Martin, Moreno, Kreuziger, Coppel, Ferrar and a lot more famous names.
Because of the pace set by Garmin and Lotto, no breakaway were formed before half the race was driven.

I was turned off today, so I enjoyed the beautiful conditions on Mallorca today.
But even with all the famous names in the start line, V.Iglisnky took the victory in front of Oss.

But after I finished, I got a good message for Contador, Coppel was 6 min behind the peleton in the finish.

We were racing at the same time as Qatar, so when we finished, we heard that Mørkøv had broke his arm, and wouldn't be back before Ronde Vlaanderen.
