Don't worry That's something I would like to do here: if someone wants to follow a specific team/rider, just let me know and I will listen

Is there a rider named Riley Maule for GPM Data#3? Or Jesse Kerrison for Budget? |

I will add Kerrison to the Budget-roster, yes. But Maule isn't listed in the GPM-team on the NRS-website. I may search for him later. Do you know them?

I would add a few more points on Neil Van der Ploeg sprint stats and same goes for Rico Rogers but all looks really good so far, I would also agree with jackstar on Alex Wohler

Thanks for this infirmations, Strydz! I will change the stats, but how about Neil Van der Ploeg's hill-stats? I don't want him to be too overpowered, but he seems to do well in hilly stages too.
Already changed Wohler in my DB. What do you suggest for his sprint-stats, btw?

Kerrison is a year older than me and wins pretty much week in, week out at our local races. Not that it's anything special, although some races attract big fields with NRS guys and names such a Johnny Cantwell and McEwen. Maule's a mate of mine. We used to ride together and race together but when started focusing purely on triathlons he got a ride and I didn't. He's probably not in the DB cause he's only 17.
Wohler is a very good Crit racer. Like Ryan Macanally last year. I think his resistance is too low for Crits. Maybe 69-71... |

Nice! Looking forward to this! Just wondering if this DB will be made available to be download? If so, that would be awesome!
Can I have a little input on the rider stats?
Neil Van der Ploeg is a surprisingly good sprinter. I don't think he gets enough credit for how well he can sprint.
Harry Carpenter isn't that great a time trialist, compared to others on his team. As much as it pains me to say it, I'd say that position should be held by Miles Scotson. Scott McPhee is a very strong rider, a great domestic (although he never is given an opportunity to ride for himself, even in the 'individual' local crits that are held here during the summer). Maybe a higher flat stat?
Jesse Kerrison is an incredibly good sprinter; easily best out of all in his age category. As is Caleb Ewan. I raced both of these guys as a junior, and even then they were leagues ahead.
James Hepburn is also a surprisingly good TTer. Maybe a point or so higher?
Anyway, that's just my thoughts. If you plan to play this for more than a season it might be a touch broken, as some riders will get much higher in their stats (towards the 80's) and some teams might start scouting the likes of Italy for riders....
Good luck, and I look forward to seeing this run!

When you can't decide between two options, flip a coin. Not because the result of the coin will choose for you, but because, in that split second before the coin lands, you'll know what side you want it to fall on.

Thanks for this input, guys! It's really appreciated and helps me a lot!
Good to know Kerisson's talent. Should be a good addition to Budget then.
@TTgladiator: nice infos there! But are you sure about Carpenter? He finished 2nd in Perth's TT a few days ago, that's why i thought he would be a good TTer. Thinking of lowering his stat to 72 and rising Scotson to 72 as well. How about that?
As for the DB as download: not decided yet. Depends on how messed up my DB will be once it's ready you better don't expect a download. And one thing is for sure: a playable career-mode is one tough challenge, which i don't have time to work for.

So, especially for miggi133, who's still working on his great shirts Here you go:
SUVelo Racing [img-r]https://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x323/tsmoha/Teams_SUVelo_zps69c030eb.png[/img-r] In early 2012, Sydney Uni Velo Club (SUVelo) set out to create a racing team that not only upheld the standards of the club, but could also be successful at the highest level in Australia - a squad that would focus on rider development, teamwork and representing the club in a professional manner.

The amount of effort you and indeed Miggi have put into this is awesome - will definitely follow, and I've never followed a story before

Where to start? There's so much more, but of course it's a matter of taste what to follow.
@AN: thanks for the kind words, mate! It's great to see you here and even considering to follow your first story hope you will enjoy it!

@sutty: Agreed
@Pinktay3: Not sure. Don't think so.. but I noticed that Riley Maule races for the team Data#3 Cisco, not GPM Data#3 You may check his stats, don't know his strengths!
@all: So, here's six more teams. I may add more teams during the season, but this 17 teams will kick off the season then.. I'm not 100% ready to go, so I'm going to introduce the "blogging riders" first.
Downer EDI Mining National Cycling Team
Bianchi Lotto Arbitrage
Target Trek Racing Team
African Wildlife Safaris Cycling Team
Data#3 Cisco Racing Team
Veneziano Blefari Cycling Team

Nice to see more teams in there. Are Maule's stats from the database? Or custom-made? Ive raced quite a few of those guys before, and I believe Trent Carman's Sprint stats are quite low for how he rides. He's not nessecarily quick at the end, but he's got a lot of power and can really drive it along the flats. He's also not too bad ta punchier parcours. Ben Carman's a much better climber than 63, maybe 68 or 69. And Dylan Newberry won the state junior Time Trialmlast year, so 54 seems a bit light... |
