Gilbert can't close a gap, just like in San Remo.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

He probably had flat tire back there, or later maybe, hard to tell.

Was much later. Langeveld was almost with Boonen group by the time Sagan stopped with flat tyre |

So maybe he has other tactics, it is harsh to tell that he is bad tactically, just because he did notfollow Langeveld, nowhere is written it was best move from Langeveld.
Also no cobblers in his team is really stupid, when you want to fight for cobble races.

I think its fairly obvious to get involved in a counterattack with Langeveld rather than just sit in the peloton watch Boonen group ride away. |

The gap was 45 seconds at one point, now it was 20 few moments back, that is hardly riding away.
Between that mechanical for Sagan, maybe he wanted to wait. And we all know he is not any master of tactics, i just think this specifially was not major fail.

The Boonen group clearly isn't working. Hayman and Hagen trying to be too clever. |

Especially since nobody want's to ride with him. If he had followed Langeveld, Langeveld would probably have stopped. |

Yeah, Sagan in attack=end of attack most likely.

Sagan is so good he can create team mates out of nowhere, cool. Pity he hadn't learn to do that in Sanremo.
