This stage had the hard parts in the first half, so if you got dropped you lost lots of time

You should have won this Bellis...
But 2nd and 12s are nice as well.
Nice win for Vueling. Sell Schreurs to me. Still interested. ;-) |

Another great performance from my team, clever move to send Pakthusov, our GC leader, into mid-stage break (strange they did not push it harder).
He finished safely in the pack thanks to it. But screw the GC in the end, our goal is to hold the yellow jersey for one more day and win the green. Hoffman overperformed on the hills and still able to finish fifth for good points, nice.
Thanks for the nice reports.

Great performance by Ben Nasser getting some important time bonuses there. I thought the stage would be for the remaining sprinters, but clearly the pace in the hills made it hard for them.
The next stage should be the easiest for the pure sprinters, so we don't expect anything from there. Congrats to Crue.

2 stages and 2 breaks . Can't expect more than that. And will have some nice details for Boswell blog He's already our only guy in GC Hopefully we'll see more breaks from us, with hope that on one stage a break goes all the way to the end.

Ginanni don't know why he stopped so suddenly though considering he was top 5 with 2.5km to go. |

Haha, are you kidding me?? Maybe the flattest stage of the tour and Lo Cicero is finishing in 72nd. I knew it was risky to send him here, but I couldn't in my wildest dreams think that he would suck that hard
Extremely good performances by Metinvest and Hoffmann though! |

Bole Wow a 2nd place is light years above my expectations for him here, especially with Hoffman being head and shoulders above the rest.

Incredible from Hoffman! Drujon gets another podium as well, while Gautier has been well placed in the sprints too which could help if it comes to a count back for GC places.

What were my sprinters doing there? In the one picture with only 9 sprinters creating a gap there was still a Rothaus rider there. But obviously none of my riders did sprint in the end...
Hoffman is having a great ride so far and surely will as well in other races later the season. Great signing. |

Now that is some show from Hoffman.
Perfect finish to the another great job from whole team and Capecchi especially, leading Nolan to the last kilometre. As mentioned, only crash could cost us the green jersey and with this form in front of home crowd, i hope for one more Hoffman win or at least podium in the two remaining flatter stages.
And thanks guys for congrats, i thought Nolan is a steal for 130k as soon as i signed him, he has all the important stats (here he benefots even more from home bonus) and he can hopefully move us further from relegation places in the future. His points are essential, so good to see delivering him right from the start.

Wow, Lijke on 5th is preety nice. This guy is going be very good when he maxes out
3/3 stages in break. Our trend continues as well, now just hopefully Boswell tries to go for KoM and it'd be a decent enough tour.

Ouch. Huge mistake to send other sprinters next to Bellis as SN said. I hope this won`t matter too often and won`t happen again next season...
Otherwise I am pretty sure he would have sprinted top3 today when Van der Lijke and Flügel were that strong.
Nevertheless Van Heerden with a nice effort and another sprint top10. |

I should give my team credit for at least trying to set up Lo Cicero this time. Not that it made any difference though. I see the new Vantomme in the makings |

Andriato again gets into a magnificent position and manages to finish outside the top 20, I am losing hope of anything from this race.

Well, the hattrick from Hoffman would be awesome, but 2nd is still another perfect result and Van der Lijke was stunning coming from his wheel, congrats to HTC.
Now days of survival for Nolan and next shot in the last stage, maybe Pakthusov can surprise in the meantime.
