England just need 1 point against Croatia to qualify, but as Alex said, it isn't going to be easy.
I'm just glad we have been given another chance to qualify. I love Israel

what did I say about Russia, comparing to France?
now we'll have to put up with the english. oh well
meanwhile the Austrians are making a petition (several thousands of signatures already) so that their team doesn't participate because it sucks so much

Armenia is causing a lot of trouble through their most dangerous player, Ricardo, who is disguised as portuguese goalkeeper. just screwed up and sent a guy down for a penalty that wasn't awarded.
I have no idea who the Armenian keeper is but he can't possibly be worse than ours.
on the plus side, the brilliant 21 year old Veloso is getting his first cap. this way Sporting will have a lot more power while selling him on the market. the only question is who will sign him first. apparently Juventus is interested in both him and Moutinho.
we'll see.
if only Portugal could turn having all three top wingers on the field at once into a goal or two...

he combines the between-the-posts ability of PSV's Gomes with the aerial ability of Jorge Campos

3rd cap. And Sporting will probably sell them all (the young players) and then buy crappy ones as they allways do
