Awesome, will be checking that out in the week.
Just about caught up on Daytona Speed Week as well. Exciting as always and full credit to Danica Patrick who really performed well in her first Sprint Cup races.

The V8 Supercars are the best touring car series in the world but unfortunately hard to follow it was I like to sleep^^
Meanwhile the self declared best and most popular touring car series in the world, the DTM, will be introducing.. DRS!
Last season they said about the new cars they will change the racing forever as with much less aerodynamics the cars will now overtake a lot more and can take some damage.
They pointed also to the V8 Supercars who have, if there wouldn't be the rear wing, no aerodynamic parts at all other wise the bulkier looking with that fantastic racing.
But last season was as boring as the last ones with those escalating aerodynamics if BMW the comebackers wouldn't have won the DTM...
And how poor must a touring car championship be if they have to introduce a DRS system because otherwise the races are plain boring?
Even though the DTM hardly qualifies as a touring car championship.
I mean they don't even buy a BMW M3 and rebuilding it into a DTM car as that is actually "touring car", they build it from scratch so it's a prototype.
But at the V8 Supercars (or WTCC/BTCC) they buy the normal car and rebuilding it to the regulations etc.

Problem with DTM is the draft is nonexistant so there's no passing. It's so boring.

There is only one consistently good DTM race, and that is the Norisring. Otherwise they are dull.... But i still watch highlights of every race anyway

You are wrong about the V8's... They have a unity manufactured chassis that fits the 4 different brands. They are built like Nascar Vehicles... The only differnce is, that the V8's resemble the actual cars you can buy on the road...

It's the same for DTM (or Japan's Super GT), btw, they have a common chassis for all the cars in the serie and re-build the car around it. |

NASCA Sprint Cup was awesome this weekend!
One of the best races i've seen in a while, going right down to the final corner. The new Gen 6 car makes for some great on track action

BTCC (British Touring Car Championship) began its 2013 season today.
A series constantly full of excitement and great racing... and crashes. My favorite motorsport to follow as its always kicking off somewhere on circuit!

Apparently they've announced that Mark Webber has signed with Porsche for their prototype program, due to start next season.
Audi have a better top speed here, but we'll see if they've fixed their tire use since last season. Toyota is running a spec-2012 chassis anyway, so we won't really know before Spa what they're worth compared to Audi. |

Marc Marquez will start from pole on tomorrow's MotoGP race in Austin. This in his second race only. He gave half a second to teammate Pedrosa in 2nd place, and one second faster than Jorge Lorenzo. This guy is an incredible machine, and I see him beat Rossi's record in the future. |

Still, very impressed about him. And I would say Pedrosa had the highest chances this weekend. Waiting for tomorrow. |

Marquez is incredibly talented. He will always get choice of bike as well, and the two combined will lead to many many records. He will eclipse Rossi's career no problem, if not the man himself.
