Great, we're beasts
Only one thing concerns me: We have a shortage of cobbled domestiques. The team got one of the best cobblers in the world(Mike), but only 2 good other cobblers, and after that just decent ones(DeLarge and me)
Well, he is beasty enough on his own too. Seriously, I understand your concerns, but there is nothing to do about it now.
Hope it will start soon really looking forward to racing.
And I have a one probbably stupid question but I wasn´t following your first story. So here it is: what exactly happens when you get a spider? What can I do with him?
@Jesleyh - No! I won't waste Wesley's racedays... Seriously, gonna need huge performaces from you, to meet my goals...
@mvhoogdalem - Alex will be really useful in the earlier parts.
@JuanMotr - Well, you can ofc watch his races, get Spider points, it's a competition after all. And ofc, feel the great ambience around the team, enjoy the story together. Feel the SpiderBite!
@Marcovdw - Sorry, I don't know why do I think, that he is Belgian. Changed it in the DB.
Great to see the story will start soon, the only doubt i have is that our hilly leader isn't the one with best hill stat, i would give him 79 like Wiles. Then i've seen that my rider has 69 in ACC, as he's a puncher wouldn't he have a better stat, in this way he could make difference with an attack in the hill and do a decent sprint. Anyway can't wait for the start, you've done an amazing job

Well, I didn't want to get another leader, you're both co-leaders. About the ACC stat, he'll do more than you'd think of with that.
So, I finished the 1st third of the season planning, will finish the rest on Saturday most likely. The proper racing will start either on the Weekend or Monday, so watch out for the spiders soon!
Thanks Csabi. Mresuperstar, I hope too, would love to see Kyle winning some TTs right away too!
The first Spider of the Day award gets handed out
The first one to obtain points in the rankings is...
Jesleyh!!!
He got the award for his incredible contribute to his rider's schedule and stats, almost breakdowns.
Here they are:
One-day WT races
Milan - San Remo: A race where he wants to participate in, and lead. He got the abilities to win, but can he?
Gent - Wevelgem: Cobbled race, but with a good chance that a sprinter wins it.
Vattenfall Cyclassics: The only sprinters classic. He has to deal with the best here, but come on, it's a sprinters' classic, let him just race this.
Canadian Races: He's not actually sure about this one, since it was a breakaway win in the last years. If you look at the quality, he might win it if it's a sprint though.
Other cobbled classics: He doesn't really want to race them all, but one look at the cobbled squad learns us that he has to.
Note: It was all in a random sequence. It doesn't mean that he like GW more than Vattenfalls or TDU than Suisse.
2.1/1.1/2HC/1HC he wants to race.
Scheldeprijs(1HC), Flat, and in the Benelux.
Paris-Bruxelles(1HC) Flat, and also got a big reputation.
Paris-Tours(1HC) Same as P-B.
Rund um die Finanzplatz(1HC) Also flat.
Volta Limburg(1.1) A nice classic through his home country. Always a weak startlist though, so it might not be a good idea to race it)
Dutch food valley Classic(1.1): High on his list. It's one of the most prestigious one-day races of the Netherlands(except Amstel) and he doesn't want to disappoint his fans by not showing up.
Basically, he likes every flat one-day race, as long as it isn't 40+ degrees Celsius. He just want to do good in stage-races too, and therefore doesn't want to race more than 12 one-day races.
Qatar + Oman(both 2.HC): He likes them, because it's flat, and because he can even win the GC at Qatar. Yes, it's hot, and he doesn't like hot, but it's February, and that means no extraordinary temperatures. He demands a nice TT squad for stage 2 of Qatar, if he races it, since otherwise he doesn't have GC chances. He wants to ride Qatar+Oman, or none of them.
KBC. Driedaagse de Panne(2.HC): He likes it. It's in Belgium, so quite a few fans will be there. + Most of the stages are flat, and it ends with a prologue.
Skoda Tour of Luxembourg(2.HC) Not sure if the Spiders are going to race it, but this race is actually almost made for him. A short prologue + some sprints, even a few uphill.
Tour de Wallonië(2.HC) Bit of the same as the previous ones. No Prologue though, and Wesley likes Flanders(De Panne) and Luxembourg more than Wallonie.
Tour de Limousin(2.HC) A nice ride through France. 1 steep uphill sprint, that he wants to try.
Post Danmark(2.HC) A great opportiunity for a GC win, although it might be a bit easy, since the biggest rival would most likely be Hagen.
Tour of Langkawi(2.HC) Plenty of sprinter opportiunities. Just racing a stage-race so long, and maybe even after Qatar+Oman, so early in the season, seems a bit heavy and too much.
Tour of Turkey(2.HC) Wesley has for some reason interest in Turkey. And it also suits him pretty good.
Etoile de Besseges(2.1): The board might wants him to race a stage-race in the early season. He prefers this one, especially if the board doesn't race Qatar+Oman.
Delta Tour Zeeland+ZLM(Both 2.1): Some racing in the Netherlands in June doesn't harm him. He likes it, and also like the routes. It will be a nice preparation for the NC. Although Suisse clashes a bit with this races.
Stats:
Spoiler
80 Sprint seems fine, was thinking about that too. Is 71 hill too much? That would assure him to have a small advantage on Greipel and Cav at some stages, increasing his change to win a few GT stages (Although if it's serious uphill, Sagan would still beat him)
About 79/80 ACC seems reasonable I guess.
I also want him to ride a good prologue, about 77/78 if possible. His TT would be like 66 then. not that high.)
He has to survive the mountains better than Cav, but (way) worse than Sagan and Hagen, so about 65/66MO.
Every top-sprinter has a good downhill ability. I would say about 74/75. It would make him worse as Cav, but well, it's not that Hoogenboom should be the best sprinter of the world(Yet )
A flat ability of 77/78 seems great. Cav, Greipel and Goss would have a bit better, but not enough to keep Wesley off winning stages.
A cobble stat of 70 seems nice. If there's an injury, Wesley can race a cobbled race as domestique(Yes, he's okay with that). And with cobbles 70, he might survive the cobbled of Gent-Wevelgem. If it gets a sprint, he might podium/win it. In my game, Greipel wins it sometimes, so why not make Hoogenboom an outsider if it gets a sprint(Although Greipel would have the edge, since his cobbled stat is 73)
Wesley isn't really a fighter, since he has to keep his energy for the sprint(or for later days, if he's riding a mountain stage atm) His fighter stat can be 'round 60.
Then the energy stats.
Endurance: His endurance should be somewhere around 76. Again, lower than Cav, Goss, Greipel, but higher than Kittel, Guardini. He has to have 76 to survive MSR too.
Resistance: He would be in the top of the sprinters, but he has to have a decent one if he wants to ride a nice prologue. About 73/74 would be great for him.
Recovery: A key stat for sprinters who want to do well in GT's. I thought it out, and since his MO will be better than Cav's, he will recover better from a mountain stage. 75/76 REC would be fine. He can't match the recovery stat of Sagan, Cavendish, etc. but that's fine.
If there are stats you don't agree with, just PM me. If there's one, it's likely the prologue stat or the hill stat. I just looked at the DB, and the hill stat seems good if you look at the other sprinters. He will lose the sprints who are sharp uphill(Sagan, Degenkolb, Hagen will take it), but if they are slightly uphill, it will be a nice battle(Cav, Greipel, Goss, Hoogenboom, Sagan)
And I just like sprinters who ride a nice prologue (Although Boasson Hagen would still slaughter me in a prologue )
Wow, Wesley is going to get a lot of racedays! And he might participate in my hometown race!!!!
EDIT: Can I still PM you Tim de Vries his schedule preferences?

Yes you can, and Wesley won't participate in all of those races.
