It's definitely weird. I thought the whole idea of letting them out of the Pro Tour-thing was to allow the organizers to choose the teams themselves. |

they can't possibly be serious...
this is like a Venezuelan soap opera.....at this point I'm just waiting to see when is it that McQuaid and Clerc find out they are long lost brothers...
it's amazing how much I hate both the UCI and ASO...

After the 2006 season, sponsor T-Mobile made a clean sweep of the team, installing new management with a tough new anti-doping course – a message which Sinkewitz didn't seem to understand. "Of course the word was no doping!" he said. "I understood the message this way, 'don't get caught!' But now I know that they really meant it seriously."
Sinkewitz turned pro at age 21 with the Italian team Mapei, where there was no doping, he said. However, he said things were "different" at his next team of Quick.Step. "There we understood it that we weren't doing anything differently than anyone else was doing. As though it was part of the profession."
Asked directly if team manager Patrick Lefevere knew about what was going on, Sinkewitz responded, "It is hard to believe that he didn't. There are things that nobody speaks about but which are nevertheless made clear. How many details he knew, I don't know."

Are they sick or are they sick? They're becoming like Alonso and Hamilton.

- Jaksche will be back 3 months earlier than "planned", because he has been a crown witness. This means he will be back in May 2008.
- On the 11th of November, Rabobank will publish their Rasmussen-investigation.
- T-Mobile has once again declared that they will continue sponsoring Team T-Mobile, even after Sinkewitz' statements |

great, so he'll be back just in time to be rejected entries into the Giro and the Tour 2008.

Despite saying that they would not stop sponsoring Team T-Mobile, T-Mobile now admits that they are considering the current situation. "We do have a contract until 2010, but a contract can always be cancelled", Stefan Althoff, cirector of the marketing department in T-Mobile.
They are now investigating the team once again, and when everything is clear (is Rogers doped or not ) they will decide what to do. |

I'm guessing "u94" is some ASCII code you copied unknowingly. or does it mean something?
anyway, the traditional "kill everyone" stage falls on the 28th this time.

most of the climbs are known. depending on the length of the TTs and whether it's ITT+TTT or 2xITT, it seems like a route for a more all-round rider.
EDIT: it's got to be 2xITT (plus prologue), because a TTT on the eleventh stage would be complete stupidity
anyway, full route to be unveiled December 1st

Haha, Bo Hamburger (aka Ebo) has now finally admitted to have used EPO.
(And Cycling Nord, a Danish talent team, has today announced that they will renew Hamburger's contract. He's functioning as some kind of advicer for the team )

Michael Rasmussen has announced that he will hold a press conference tomorrow. According to a guy named "Fanta", who usually is very well-informed about MR, all Danes should look forward to this, because MR will bring a lot of "rational and good" things to the press conference. It will mean a brighter future for MR, the Fanta-guy says.
Speaking of press conferences, CSC will also hold one on Saturday. It has been guessed that CSC will announce new contracts for the Schleck brothers and Cancellara - and possibly two new signings.
Riis has said that he wants to have the full team ready when they go on their first training camp which is now just two weeks away.

From eBo's (Bo Hamburger) press conference: "If I had to choose between cycling (with doping) and my wife, I would have chosen cycling (with doping)" |
