TEAM CYMRU WALES are glad to announce there first rider signing for the new campaign. He is the young and upcoming Welshman Steve Moore
Steve is already a well developed rider and we hope he will add strength and youth to the team and provide us with good performances throughout the year
Hi guys. Here is the bio and HQ for not the best, nor the fastest, but undoubtedly, the most important rider in Pro Cycling today...Steve Moore.
I'm a young(ish!) cyclist who was actually born and raised in Luton, England. Home of famous faces like Monty Panesar and Paul Young.
Yes, that Paul Young!
Despite this, I am proud of the Welsh roots and would never be considered anything other than a proud Welshman, the 'Land of my Fathers' (as seen below).
Ironically, talking of Monty Panesar above, I was the first Lutonian to bowl Left-Arm spin in a cricket match for England, albeit that because it was disabled cricket, nobody knows that one.
Which brings me on to my point of why I am the most important cyclist in the Pro game today. While my disability, running down the right side of my body, affects my stability meaning I can't be the fastest, nor the best (heaven help anyone near me taking a right-hander on a downhill!), I believe I am a pioneer for disability cycling.
To pull on the Team Cymru Wales jersey, that could hardly be more welsh if it had the black and yellow flag of St. David on it, will be a privilege and an honour. I harbor no dreams other work for the team and fight as long and as hard as I can. I have to, just to compete in that company
Oh and those rumours about me being a party-animal and a playboy? Not true...
Welwyn - Really enjoyed reading the Steve Moore HQ, lets hope his disability will not distract him from putting in some good performances for the team in the up and coming campaign
TEAM CYMRU WALES has announced a three year partnership with bike manufacturer PINARELLO. Both parties are hoping for a long and successful partnership
Yeah, I'm avare of that, but there are still 2-3 possible first signings I could imagine just from GBR
And the first signing will probably be one of your strongest riders, so it matters a lot, which type of rider you sign in this round
