so just because you don't get your way you quit?
Sorry if I gave you that impression mate. I quit because these internet games are supposed to be fun, and this isn't fun for me anymore. For me, the person running the game should do his best to keep his players happy and I didn't feel that was still the case. But really, I wish you and the other teams all the best in this game!
Sorry to say that, but this is the childish way ... be a man and stay |

First thing:
what about your custom riders?
second:
really?
You fail to get an U23 rider, who will only be contracted for 1 year, and will not win anything all season, will only be 3km lead-out man on average, you say its not fun and quit!
Travis is a puncher! He fit the team more than Howard would (so far).
Its a shame you feel this way.
I hoped we could have moved on, as clearly we weren't going to agree.
There is nothing against you or your team. This is the first time a dispute had appeared, so it may have felt like i was favoring everyone else.
If i made this change, it could be viewed as favoritism to your team, by all 27 other teams.
It would be nice if we could PM to try and reach an agreement over this, so that you are happy to continue.

Well, TMM and me had a long chat. We still can't agree about what happened, but we did manage to get a compromise and restore my faith in this game. I will update everything tomorrow, and already my apologies for the annoying situation I created. Thanks for all the PMs with support as well, they meant a lot and definitely made a change

Lierse - Pizza Ullo and UCI smoke peace pipe
After yesterday's dramatic events, both parties came to their senses and reached a compromise. We would like to take this oppurtunity to apologise to our fans to what some call an impulsive reaction, but it was needed. We are very happy to have reached an agreement that will prevent situations like that from happening again.
Of course, in the centre of all this, we have Leigh Howard. In the end, we could not keep Leigh, and we're very sorry for that. We wish Leigh all the best in his career, definitely hoping our paths will cross again. Instead, we received Cameron Meyer, who was eligible after all. Cameron luckily has no grudge against us for treating his brother a bit poorly over the last few days. We're gladly welcoming him to the team!

Haha, you could always sign Travis in later rounds if Cameron needs a morale boost |

As promised: our first Italian!
Due to all this madness, one would almost forget there was a draft. It might have been last minute, but we are happy to have reached an agreement with Ivan Basso. Though maybe over his peek, this guy is still a winner, if not a great helper for our other GC guys. He is also the Italian we promised to our Italian fans and sponsors. I hope you're happy with him!
For the next rounds, we'll be stuck in the centre of the list, so it'll be wait and see. We have a few names we want, but there might be other teams outsprinting us.

I guess all this would've been an awkward situation in real life

Hawaii training camp canceled.
Though the precise amount of money is still unknown, there has been a small fine included in the deal with the UCI. Due to this, our planned Hawaii training camp has been canceled, and we'll be going to Leeds instead. The riders were not very supportive. In fact, I need to end this message now, as they are breaking through my office door, which I tried to barricade.

Nizzolo with us for the next 3 years
In our spirit of giving young local talent a chance, Lierse - Pizza Ullo is proud to announce the signing of Giacomo Nizzolo. The young Italian is going to be our main sprinter alongside Arnaud Démare. We hope that both raiders will develop and that they can inspire each other to become even better.
We also satisfied our Italian fans now, the next round we'll probably be turning back to the Belgian talents. Although if a special oppurtunity presents itself, we won't hesitate.
