This is a strong team and all know their place in the team very well. Good Luck to the riders.
With the first race in sight for AXA we have been preparing. As you should know the start list has been presented but here it is again just in case anyone missed it.
Our main man for the race is Jonathon Tiernan-Locke. He will be looking for a stage win and a top 5 in GC. Our sprinter is Dean Downing who is hoping for a top 5 and if he is feeling good, a win.
Today we had the first stage for the team. We were well represented with Kiendys in the break.
He managed to win the first sprint point.
The break even managed to stay away and The win went too Gediminas Bagdonas of Pervyj. 2nd was Romain Bardet and 3rd was Bert-Jan Lindeman. Kiendys managed to get 5th place which is a great result for the team.

Hopefully the next stage will bring more success for the team.
Today was stage 2 of the Volta ao Algarve. We were hoping for another top 10 today so let's see how we ended up.
First the break got away. Representing AXA was David Clarke.
Next with about 5km to go we saw the break still out front. 3km to go the sprint started for the break. Clarke was in a good position but there was a rider out ahead.
Today was the tour of Oman. We had a good first star yesterday with Dean sprinting for 11th place. In stage 2 Wilkinson got into the initial break but got caught. We than had a horrible stage to finish of.
Sorry for the short reports. Really nothing to report about though
