That Special Round hit you hard!
But i think you saved the right riders. Goss can grab wins, Evnas good GC's and Phinney you can develop into a very good flat rider all round.
I can say Phinney was the most popular steal.
But its still a decent team, with a very nice focus on Oceania. One of my favorites in the whole game as a result

I'll follow André Cardoso and i hope he makes a great season on your team!
He finished 21st on last years Vuelta for Caja Rural, what inspired Miguel98 to write a story about him:

Manx; That was my thought patern on that all too...
Sutty; Mmm, thank you, at least someone agrees
Kimi; Wow, uh sorry... We're not all from Portugal (not to sound rude) |

I honestly do feel bad about you losing you cobbles team...
I'm very happy to have gotten Thor Hushovd though. Is it correctly calculated that he had a three-year contract?

Correct. Hushovd was a 3 year contract and Chavanel was a 1. And I just realized I only signed Phinney for 1 year |

And, we're back. After time in hiding over an unlucky final (and surprising) round of drafting, I think the entire team is almost back up and running on full gas.
With Nationalism very important to not only the team, but also the UCPCL UCI. The current squad includes riders from 8 different nations. With;
12 Riders
5 Riders
3 Riders
2 Riders
1 Rider
1 Rider
1 Rider
1 Rider
With these riders, we have achieved all 3 of the leagues predetermined Nationalism Goals, of which we are very proud of. We trust that having this many riders from our selected countries of origin, as well as some talented riders from both developed cycling countries and up and coming nations, will get out the name and brand of this team. |

Team Pure Black - Genesys Change Tour Down Under Roster
There has been a small movement at Team Pure Black - Genesys, as it has beenrevealed that Leigh Howard has slight tenderness in his Archillis Heel, rendering him unavailable for the Tour Down Under. He is being replaced by Young New Zealand up-start sprinter, Josh England.
Their updated roster is as follows;
Matthew Goss
Cadel Evans
Mark Renshaw
Johnny Cantwell
David Millar
Josh England
Michael Torckler
Leigh Howard

Good News and Bad News...
So, at the team we've good news and bad news.
The bad news first, it is expected for the team to be fighting against relegation, and we have also been given a 6/10 rating for the squad list. I personally would say that with a certain 2 riders no longer with us, that this would be more like 7.5 or 8... More bad news, the official/s of the League have put down our aims to be a fully New Zealand and Australian team, saying that the team lacks depth.
Moreover, onto the good news. Due to this lack of depth, we have been praised for our amount of developable riders, with many being classed as future world class riders. Another plus of our personality as a team is that we are favored by many, and in the case of a decision against who receives relegation and whop stays in the top teir of world cycling, we may have the popularity to get the more fortunate decision for the team.
There will be a full review, including team members, rivals, races to watch and my own predictions to follow. I've no clue when or how though, but I'll try my best. |

Sutty; Only the highest. Being the only Australasian registered team at the biggest Australian race, anything but a stage and the GC will be considered a failure. |

Team Pure Black - Genesys Off To A Flyer
The team has launched its inaugral season in rather smashing fasion, sending a 5 man squad to Santander, Spain for the unofficial season opener 'Santander Crit'. On a rather difficult 7.6km circuit, we had 5 options for the win, with 4 sprinters, including Criterium specialist Johnny Cantwell, and Glenn Chadwick for if the race got tough. We came out with some good results, claiming 2nd and then 2 more in the top 9.
The team was well represented with Chadwick being in the BoTD, and aggresive throughout, then with Millar getting in the late (successful) break and almost opening the season with a bang. Good work to Johnny, Jules and Mikey for being there in the sprint.
Hopefully this means good things for our first official race of the season at the TDU.
