In a highly restricted draft, SGL-Magix managed to score a strong young Australian, Luke Durbridge. The rider is the current U-23 World and AUS TT champion, and will be one of the main riders in the teams race control squad. He can maintain a strong power output, and after shows time and again just how skilled he is as a rider, and has an incredible palmarés already, including both Road and Track world champion titles, including Junior and Full-Professional Decorations.

It is being reported, that in the fifth round of proceedings, SGL-Magix finally procured some form of GC leader. They are pleased to announce the signing of German all-rounder, Andreas Kloden. He is a very strong Time-Triallist who also climbs at a reasonable level, which combined with the fact he's German, makes him the perfect GC candidate for SGL. Whilst the team has only a limited focus upon GC positioning, It is important to contest them occasionally, and we are hopeful that Kloden will provide some successful overall placings during the coming years.

The first of two riders to sign was the italian sprinter, Sacha Modolo, He's put pen to paper on a 3 year contract and will surely prove a valuable asset to the team. Expect to see him setting up our leaders, before taking overs the reigns further down the line.

We couldn't have a German team without Jens Voigt! He will be one of our road captains, keeping everyone in check and going on mad attacks when he gets bored! Jens will surely prove a valuable asset to the side, and be a great component within our TTT squad, when he's not trying to catch something for dinner.
