Well... Of course starting over isn't nice, but if we in return get an enormous amazing game, then I'm in
Maybe we could do a combination then: 50% of the money/points (or whatever) we gain from the results, and the other 50% for the reporting
Feyenoord(football) and Kelderman fanboy
PCMdaily Awards: 12x nomination, 9x runner-up, 0x win.

Francoppell are having some talks about it now.
Maybe a new thread might be more appropiate to discuss anything new.

Can I still keep my custom season if I have a transfer thread in one and all the team HQs and races in one thread? |

Cant you just make a seperate forum section. PCM Interactive Games. Just for the games.
That way story people dont get their stories bumped off the front pages and the people that enjoy playing the games get forced of the site. It would kill nearly all the games and be a pain in the backside for anyone that did persist. |

If there was a new big single one, could we get a sub section for it?
just a small one so we don't clutter anywhere else, like how the console game has a section, down the bottom, out the way.
Theoretically it would replace several of the established games.

That could work if admin admin allows it. |

The possibility of a subforum for these sorts of games is under discussion, but there certainly won't be a different subforum for each individual game.
The forum is littered with games like are being discussed, or 'stories' with teams of fantasy user-chosen riders, and none of them have ever had any longevity. They might be popular and active for a couple of weeks, or even a couple of months, and then they stop. Already you are talking about starting a new game, and your current game has not even been going for 1 month.
If a community game were to have its own subforum, it would really have to deserve it.

Its a fair point these things havnt got far.
This new one is only a base idea at the moment. But the issue is lots of games means lots of threads. I've PM'd the "owners" of the various fantasy games. They are all happy to help if they can. I'm also sure some of the current players would help out in many ways when they can.
Things are starting to change, Fernando's Spidertech-Cervelo "user" team has reached the end of the Tour de Suisse. There are a couple of other fantasy one-rider stories that have got some length into them. Its nothing major but its a start.
I'll go with any decision thats made, i just ask for a chance. To help i'll post a general thread (not in the story section) with the first round of ideas. People can read it and decide if its any good. They key thing is participation. If several people run it, and loads of people take part it'll keep its self running a la Man-Game.
Its up to you, the admins, and everyone will go with what ever is decided.

With all the people running the game and it should be quite popular. All we need is a shot. |

What SportingNonsense says is a very fair comment indeed, we have to show willing and staying power in these games to make us all worthy of having our own forum
If we keep stopping and starting all the while then what is the point |

We are all only stopping because we have to many threads. I can continue my game and I start holidays soon so it will take off then. I only have 2 threads to my game. |

Honestly, I think if there was a big fantasy game with its own category and sub-forum, then won't we just essentially be playing a 2nd Man-Game? Whoch in essence seems rather pointless... |

It's not pointless. It is for the people who don't get into the man-game. |

Indeed, and maybe a man-game which requires a bit less time for the players, I think. And maybe some other rules.
I like the idea of a fusion into one big game. It's easier to keep the game going if there are more "leaders" involved, anyway. |

Yep this was my idea, give the possibility to play a management game to who isn't involved in Man-Game |

A totally valid reason, but we have to work hard at it to make it work and to keep it going |

With everyone running it I'm sure we could make it last. |
