Well, maybe even that could be possibly possible! But we are hoping that will never ever happen in the nearest future, as we recently bought 2 strong helpers - Jesse Sergent and Westley Gough to not only help him to win national champs!
I liked this Team from the beginning and your first signings make me a fan of cadbury hope to see our former talents doing some good things in their first season already.
With ten riders now on the books for Cadburys-Schweppes, the basis of the team is now well formed, however the squad is still lacking that cutting edge but with two more arrivals, things are definatley spicing up...

The main target for transfer window this season has finally arrived at the team, following a brief battle with Hollister Pro Cycling, Michael Torckler is confirmed as a Cadburys rider for the coming season. His strong sprint ability will see him go for stage victorys on many occasions but hes more then capable of holding his own when challenging for some of the hillier GCs

In what has become a familiar story for Cadburys, we were pushed all the way by fellow British based team ANC-Halfords in our attempts to bring in Yates to the team but with a healthy offer, the Twenty One year old spriniting prodigy was snapped up for the coming season.

With a leader and another promising rider now both happily added to the ranks, Cadburys still refuses to take their foot off the gas with a host of other riders still linked with the Continental team...

Thomas Murray
Mark Renshaw
Burry Stander
It remains to be seen if Cadburys can even come close to landing any of these riders but the management is certain not to give up any of their targets without atleast a little resistance as we head towards the end of the transfer period.

The riders just keep on coming for Cadburys-Schweppes. Following the collapse of a proposed move for Jaguar climber, Dale Appleby in the transfer market, the team returned their attention to the ever present Free-Agent market with even more determination to win the transfer battles...

Another fierce transfer saga with ANC-Halfords saw us pour our failed transfer money into wages as we eventually won the bid to bring in Twenty Eight year old sprinter, Thomas Murray into the team. His rapid acceleration and solid sprinting should hopefully see him pick up some stage victorys throughout the season.

Its fair to say the team has been pretty open about its main goal for the coming season, in the shape of primarily focusing on making the most of the sprint stages, however the arrival of Sam Horgan adds another string to the teams bow as they welcome the steady Time Trialer to the team.

With sixteen riders now in the squad, The team is now well and truely ready for the start of the season, with only a few more riders vying for a place in the Continental team, it remains to be seen who if anyone will snatch the final four places.

With transfer acitivity beggining to settle to an end, the last few remaining transfers are drawing to a dramatic close and Cadburys-Schweppes were keen to get involved with the exciting climax as they bring in their seventeenth and eighteenth riders of the season...

Another arrival and another British sprinter. This time is was part British outfit Kenya Airways-Barclays who gave us a tough fight for Gaywoods signature but the former Dyson rider eventually settled for a role at Cadburys-Schweppes, where he will become the ideal lead out man for our sprinters in the coming season.

The Twenty Three year old is perhaps the brightest current talent in New Zealand and thus commanded a wage to match. Having been developing in Belgium the young Kiwi is quickly developing into a strong cobbled rider and with a little more development throughout this season and alot of luck behind him, he could well become a superb rider of some of the classics.

With only two places remaining in the team its fair to say Cadburys-Schweppes have drained just about all the available young promising talent they can get their hands on from Britain and New Zealand and rumors are spreading that the Continental Team are soon to delve deeper into the British Commonwealth for their final two marque signings.
With eighteen riders on the books, Cadburys Schweppes look set to bring in their final two riders of the season to complete their new formed team in time for the fast approaching season and initially things went perfectly for the Continental team as they welcomed their two biggest signings of the transfer window...

With New Zealand and Britain all but drained of good talented riders, Cadburys-Schweppes broadend their search whilst sticking to their plan of only recruiting riders from within the British Commonwealth, as they landed South African climber, Burry Stander. As the only climber in the entire team, Stander will be primarily on his ownthroughout the season and will mainly be looking to maintain the teams intrests at altitiude throughout the season. No Pressure.

The marque signing of the season, sees Aussie sprinter Mark Renshaw take up the purple jersey for the coming season. Famed for using his head, Renshaws experience as a fine sprinter throughout his career will see him play a lead role at Cadburys. With a team primarily desgined from sprinting already behind him, it is hoped Renshaw will have what it takes to pick up the sprint victories for Cadburys.

With the final two key riders finally nestled into the team it appeared Cadburys were all set and ready for the coming season, however a glaring error by the teams management saw the Continental team thrown into disarray.
With a strict limit of 1,200,000 available for wages, Cadburys suddenly found themselves a whole 200,000 over the limit due to a error in their wage calculations leaving the club with only one option...saying goodbye to some of their riders before they had even turned a pedal in competitive racing for the team and the unlucky three were...

As the three least likely to develop any further in the team, it was a simple decision in the end and quickly brought the wages back under control, however it remains to be seen if Cadburys will have to once again pay out to release the riders or if anyone will be tempted by the option of a free transfer...

With the team concentrating mainly on development towards becoming a solid sprint team this season, the team will be basing the success of their season upon stage victories and with any luck a brief run in with a points jersey, as they aim to bring their large number of young riders closer to their huge potential.
You have really nice team, who looks maybe the most realistic of all, with almost only three countries, who all speak english. That has my sympathies, as i like regional focus on teams.Good luck in building for the future!
