84 MO
That's Cunego / Madrazo level.
EDIT: Zabel'd
Yeah, but he doesn't have any stats to back it up though...
Damiano Cunego has +8hills, +1TT, +6RES, +3REC, +9SPR.
Angel Madrazo has +1hill, +6TT, +1END, +2RES, +3REC.
You can't train Dombrowski that good. It would cost you 10+ mio.
That he is 84MO doesn't necessarily mean that he will win anything.
Dombrowski will be good, no doubt, but to think he will be a future GT winner I think you are wrong. I don't think he will EVER win a GT. Quite some riders will need to underperform for that to happen. Or PCM will need to change. In the years to come Nibali, Ricco and Cattaneo are probably battleing for the Giro, Madrazo, Contador, Intxausti and Tenorio in the Vuelta and one of those +Romain Sicard for the Tour de France (Riders like Spilak aswell).
You won't win a GT simply by being the best climber (Which he won't even be). I would be surprised if we don't see more 83-84 climbers than ever this season. It's the only way you can win a GT, so a lot of people will probably spend millions to train their subtop captain to top-top. And by the time Dombrowski is maxed out there are probably 10 others with 84, and possibly one or two with 85.

Remember that I am willing to spend many millions on Eastman, so by the time Dombro is maxed, he's not even the 2nd or third best American.

Do it. Not because it's a good idea, but because it makes me more likely to promote |

I think I would need 3 times that amount to make him capable of doing anything in a GT

Ty Oleg! Though I kinda asked Pinktay to make a jersey for me already.. But I'll compromise and use his in off-season pics.
I did send the rules but I'll publish them later, as I couldn't find rules stating a deadline and I want to keep them secret for a little bit longer. I may have been the only one to stretch the rules a bit so I'll probably have to defend myself, but it's just a strategy that will either be seen as a genious step or a complete fail at the end of the season. Let's just say I'm going all-in for Dombrowski despite the loan cap, shall we?

He probably sent them in a PM but waits with publishing them here if I understand him rightly.

Yeah, you are right as i read it once more, but than it is only up to you Vien, there is no rule to present it in your thread i believe, however it would be nice of you.
I think there is no problem in presenting it after all the managers sent it officialy (after the weekend).

Why would you want to pay 200.000€ of a wage for a rider who won't give you that many points? Just keep away from Dombrowski dude, for your own sake
I have a feeling that the Continental Division will be won in the transfer season more than anywhere else, so stay sharp and study your transfer plans wisely, I warns ya.

I don't see how I'd have to pay >200.000€ for Dombrowski.
-Let's assume he'll go to a PT team, shall we?
-Only way to make him better is to loan him out to a PCT or CT team.
-He's just an average rider for a PCT team, so he'll probably go to a CT team as no PCT team would want to pay money for him.
-There's no way a CT team will pay him a huge wage. Let's put it on 100.000 max, for example (it's probably a bit more).
-This means that, with the salary cap, a PT team can't offer him more than 600,000. If a team wants to offer more, he has to agree on a loan deal with a CT team as he'd risk getting a worthless talent if no one wants him.
-And a CT team will get him for probaby less than a normal rider would cost.
At least that's my theory, which will probably get busted in the next couple of posts
Apart from that I don't see the sense of planning and making shortlists, as focusing only makes blind. I think that anticipating during the transfer season will get me further than preparing.

Cattanaeo went for 450k last year, I would compare it to that (heck, he's a bigger talent than Zepuntke that I gave 220k wage last year).
Also poeple will be willing to pay more for him this year considering that he will fall in wage next year (and start becoming a more valuable rider) then the season after that again you start having a cheap leader.
Then it's the last x-factor, we got 2 american teams in the PT, one with the team pretty much set and with a philosphy of having American leaders (Phinney, Van Garderen, Summerhill...) and developing youngsters. The other with ALOT of open cap space and tend to go for young americans...
I highly doubt Dombrowski will be owned by a CT team next year, and if so that team will be last in the division and have to loan out Dombrowski for 2 years afterwards.

Think similar to Heine. Either he is going for a very high salary to PT or PCT.
Or he is going in a very high salary to a CT team. Then all others will be minimum paid riders and you will struggle imo.
I think variant one is more probable to happen. |

I still don't see why you're willing to pay such a lot of money just to loan him in. It's not like he'll be able to score you lots of points.
