I think Bassos stats is fair, he was the only one who could follow Armstrong the year before.

Why don't check out some PCM 2006 DBs? I think there should be projects containing rider pictures of that year. Or any other historical DB, there are always a lot of pictures in it. Maybe you can use them.
Edit: Here's a link with rider photos I have from the PCM2006-Game. I believe I got them from the pcmspain-update. There are over 5000 Pictures, so I guess it contains what you're looking for.

Really? 80TT is waaay too much. He improved in timetrial, but wasn't a specialist. On his peak at the Giro in 06 he lost ca. 30 seconds to Ullrich who wasn't in good shape that time. I saw Kloden as a better timetrialist than Basso, but Kloden got only 76, just 1 point better than Valverde, who isn't exactly that good timetrialist. But again, this is why there are editors out there^^

The stats are not yet done so just tell me your opinions - that is one of the reason why I have uploaded a picture of the stats.
About rider photos I already have some from PPDB but sounds good with 5000..
Thanks

Both Ullrich and Klöden should have one or two higher in hills IMO. Otherwise they'll lose too much time on the hilly stages.
Vincenzo Nibali - Rui Costa - Nairo Quintana - Alberto Contador - Peter Sagan
WDshirts
The Last of the Real
- Story about Dries Deckers - racing against Merckx, de Vlaeminck etc.

I agree. Kloden won almost the stage to Gerardmer in 2005, which was a hilly stage. Generally, I think every 80+ climber should have a hill skill near to his climbing skill. At least in the high 70's.
I also think that Basso and Ullrich are too low in flat skill. Basso should be at least over 70, Ullrich around 75 or so. He was a powerhouse of a rider, he could set a high tempo on the flat.
Bassos timetrialing should be max 77-78, Kloden 78-79 in my opinion. But its always hard to tell, because we see just a small peak of the riders. It would be better if we would have screens of the top riders for each skill if you ask me

Agree with bigggassi about flat and TT ^
Also both Valverde and Di Luca are one or two too high in TT.
Wasn't Bettini better on cobbles too? 73-74 or something.

Rasmussen should have a little bit less of FL and a little bit more of TT. |

There are something that are wrong in those screenshots.
Valverde has been given better DH stat than that..

Flat Skills:
I'm fine with that. Maybe Hincapie at bit too high, 80 should be enough for him.
Mountain:
I think Rasmussen was the best climber back then. He could be on one level with Basso. Eihter increase his stat to 83 or lower Basso to 82. I think every climber with >80 climbing should have 76-77 or higher in hills.
Hill:
I like that.
Timetrial:
Rogers maybe 1-2 points too high. Honchar 1-2 points too low. He won both timetrials at the tour. Also Zabriskie and Julich could be 1 point lower. Kloden should be at one level with Landis. In the first timetrial Landis was better, in the second Kloden. I think they could be on one level.
Prologue:
Cancellara should be at 83 or 84. By far the best prologue-specialist at that time. Hushovd could be also over 80, he won the prologue at the tour. Btw, where is Hincapie? 2nd in opening prologue. Karpets? Here you can give Valverde a higher skill as well.
Cobbles:
Well arranged.
Sprints:
You sure you show us all riders?^^ McEwen is missing, but saw him with 84 in another screen.

Is Piepoli on the Mountains list ? Arguably the 2nd best climber in the 2006 Giro. |

Thanks for your 'thoughts'. About the sprint screen I don't know what has gone wrong...
All stats are from PPDB 2006 and I have changed a bit. Baseballlover123 has made some stats but since it is 'just' for 50 % of the Pro Tour it won't work..
If people want to help with stats, just tell me.

Because I don't think that Contador was that good back then. He has 79.

Sorry for my english, whixh are not good.
I hope Contador has a good potential.
For the Flat, I agree. In mountain, I think Basso could have 82.
And he could have only 78 in time trial.
Your stats are a bit to high I think. But it's good, good job.
The DB could be finished the next month ? |
