Purito back in the Tour would be a mistake from him in my opinion. The Tour climbs don't suit him at all.

Agreed. I think it might be a smart move though, to go stage hunt and build form for the Vuelta. With that said, he'll probably be trying to win it. |

Maybe someone should remind Moser of how he won his only Giro d'Italia. Not the way of a champion, either.
Edit: lol @ Moser saying this about Wiggins:
He won the yellow jersey because the Tour was designed for his characteristics. I don’t think he would win again with a different route.

I'm not sure how closely people have been following it but the public defence fund for Paul Kimmage has passed the $50,000 dollar mark in small donations. This is just money donated by people who want to help him fight the idiotic defamation case that the UCI are trying to run against him.
For an explanation of why Kimmage is in the right here and how the donation sends a message to the UCI read this blog post from inrng:
https://inrng.com/...ence-fund/
This is where the fund comes in. Set up by fellow bloggers Cyclismas and NY Velocity it has raised over $20,000 to help Kimmage in his defence. I think many want to support Kimmage directly. But this also reads like a form of proxy war against the UCI where irate fans can get the UCI in court. These senior officials often appear wholly unaccountable and even block uncooperative journalists who get too critical. But you can’t blacklist a judge.
Fans have every right to be confused, even angry. Just last Saturday President McQuaid said “the UCI has nothing to be apologetic about” despite being in charge of a sport that just seen its biggest name banned for life after industrial doping for over a decade. Surely it didn’t get everything right?
I'm about to give $20 and I would encourage other people to do so as well.

The official list of things that Landis is now forbidden to say:
https://inrng.com/...errorists/
The UCI won its case against Floyd Landis but as victories go, this is a weak one. What ever Landis might have said in the past a Swiss court has ruled he is forbidden to state that the UCI, Hein Verbruggen and Pat McQuaid:
have concealed cases of doping
received money for doing so
have accepted money from Lance Armstrong to conceal a doping case
have protected certain racing cyclists, concealed cases of doping
have engaged in manipulation, particularly of tests and races
have hesitated and delayed publishing the results of a positive test on Alberto Contador
have accepted bribes
are corrupt
are terrorists
have no regard for the rules
load the dice
are fools
do not have a genuine desire to restore discipline to cycling
are full of shit
are clowns
their words are worthless
are liars
are no different to Colonel Muammar Gaddafi
So there we have it, a court has offically ruled that the UCI are not in fact Colonel Gaddafi.

I can't say I like him either, but I'm not sure whether I dislike him or the UCI more. Right now I'm leaning towards the UCI.

Terrorist is not only a suicide bomber, it is everyone who rule/threaten someone with fear and terror, that pretty fits the UCI

To be fair to Moser (a guy I can't stand), the Giro he won was substantially harder than this year's Tour.
