Well, that's quite subjective, I think. Some people liked that, and in the end the ground rule is: it's your story, you chose. So you can't use that as an example for bad story-writing |

Well I didn't put that in my PM, but maybe some others did

I think it was Ian's choice to do that, and it added to his story in this case. It's is choice anyway, see 'write for yourself'. If it keeps Ian motivated then that's a good thing

I thought that was a Great idea from Ian, something different and something that can and has happened in real life |

The facts speak against you But it's good to know you care enough to lie |

Hey you made it onto the Do's side twice and into the recommended list. That should more than make up for the one bad mention
I love you Ian, i really do

Thanks mate wonder what the "worst stories" mention is, though
Oh, I see it's already up!
Though, what do you mean by it? Did anyone give a specific example? Velásquez was a long story, what part was it about the edit that was "wrong"?

I know the whole point of it was that each race was to some extent pre-defined because of the whole looking back set up of the story. None of the edits were wrong, but the constant adjustments so as to achieve certain results made it feel, at least in my opinion, forced and artificial.

I get what you mean. Though in my defense, it isn't easy "writing from the future"
Anyway, your point is very valid. But I had a lot of fun with that story, that's what I remember mostly about it |

Exactly. It's also very true what you said about A Tale Of Two: it was nowhere near perfect, but I had a blast. Same goes for the current story I'm writing.
Some story writers (like the story of Salvatore Puccio) write almost a perfect story and manage to do so. But I mostly opt for speed over perfection. Choice that many other story writers opt for, too, without a doubt. |

Do - make a backup of your database. I have already seen so many stories that have ended because the database was lost or the computer was crashed.
