STAGE 16- Mountain Stage
An early leak of 6 riders, allowed even to discuss the winner of the stage. But only De Weert, André Cardoso and Garcia would dispute the victory. The victory later smiled to the Portuguese.
In the peloton, the Spaniards Valverde and Rodriguez begin to shake things up. I have to chase them.
Contador starts to fall behind. I continue my pursuit.
I have reached the group Rodriguez and Valverde, Contador gets closer.
When I hoped Contador remained in my group, he shot out like a rocket.
I not only fight back, as I do then a final attack.
Contador was not able to catch me.

A few more seconds gained on Contador to strengthen your position as the Race Leader |

STAGE 17 - Mountain Stage
At this stage Frank had not recovered very well.
So I attacked with Cancellara.
The fugitive group was composed by 14 riders.
The peloton, however, reached the final climb.
Cancellara would discuss the sprint with De Clercq.
Cancellara has won his 2nd stage.
I started to increase the pace.
When'm surprised with a brutal attack of Rodriguez.
When I counter Rodriguez, Contador strikes back with a ferocious attack

STAGE 19 - Flat Stage
One thing I must say is that Mark Cavendish abandoned the Vuelta. Less competition in the sprints.
When missing 10Km to the end, I started my sprint trail.
Bennati knew perfectly using your mate Cancellara.
Fabulous win by Bennati, beating Hushovd

STAGE 20- Mountain Stage
Today was the last mountain stage of the Vuelta, was today that decided everything.
A group led by Chavanel, made an attack early. When the peloton reaches the last climb Contador attacks.
With the help of Horner, I catch Contador.
The front group was easily caught.
However, Contador wanted to lead the Vuelta home. Another attack.
Antón counters.
But I come back and increase the pace of a very aggressive way.
Contador would have to counter.
Antón had no legs, but the Contador began approaching
However...
Spoiler It wasn't enough

STAGE 21- Flat Stage
Today was the day of the consecration of Frank, but it was also the day of Bennati get his 3rd win.
At the entrance of the last km, there was a big drop.
I took it well and with the help of Cancellara took advantage.
Bennati wins !!

Thanks to everyone who followed this chapter. Maybe I will not write anymore, because I think my story has no much interest.
I leave you only the classification of the World Championships.

A nice way to end the Vuelta, a stage win
Too bad you're stopping here, though, I'd like to see more of this team |

Great all round performance from Frank and the whole Team at the Vuelta, a totally deserved victory
And Brilliant to see Cancellara become the World TT Champion
Though i will be sad if you end this story as it has been great to follow |

Takes time to build a public. My believe is offcourse "if i'm interested in reading this, many other people will also be".
I believe you allready know this, but i'll remind you ok
As for your own writing, motivation comes and goes. Best stories are written when highly motivated. Don't rush the motivation. You can trigger it by toying/ pointing it in the right direction. (example: watching the tour de France in July triggers a motivation to play and to write your own story).
As you know, i also tried a story, but i also quit. So much work to make these stories, it consumes days. But no worries. Just let it flow, i know that one day the right situation will come. And the writing madness will start on it's own.

Many thanks for your words, you have been fantastic throughout all this. Maybe what I really need is a break, do not promise anything but stay hopeful
