I agree with Cunego. Ruben is one of my favourite stats makers, so I will be looking very forward to the release of this db.

Mhm, I know it is useless to discuss stats, but Andy Schleck 79MO? Ridiculous.
He deserves at least 81, if not 82...
Ruben, your stats are good, but Andy Schleck is way too much underrated.

I agree, Schleck is at Froome-Nibali level |

He was last year, surely. And he has the potential to be, I guess no one doubts that. But I think it's appropriate to take his 20 CQ Points of this year into account. Ruben said he bases the stats on results. Schleck had no results this year.

Indeed, it's a 2012 database, not a 2010 or 2011 one |

If they put 6 or 7 potential on Schleck, he will evolve quickly into a 81 MO. So, I think he deserves 79. The only it lookes wrong is Guardini. 80 SP? Kinda of overeact? |

Especially with sprinters, it's very important to know his secondary stats. You can already see that he won't survive any hilly, howsoever small. I would guess that he hasn't the best flat and resistance stats, which makes him a lot less competitive on top level. On the other hand, his top sprint stat will make him extremely strong on Conti level against lesser sprinters.
Have some confidence in the experienced stats makers

OK, my bad. It's a shame on the pictures didn't appear the full stats. I hope we get a preview from the stats. |

If I understood it correctly, the full database should be out by the day after tomorrow, then we'll have a real impression of what the stats are worth (beware, ruben ).

Then why is Evans still such a good climber in this DB?
His aim for this year was again TDF, but when he had to drop a few times on crucial moments
Just saying
Oh, and let's stop the stat discussion here after someone replied to what I just said, this is not a discussion thread for stats

Waiting sucks. I think this will be my backup DB until the Daily DB comes out. |

When will this db be available for download? Or is it already and am I just a noob?
This seems like the best db yet, and there have been some really good ones

Looking at Schleck's value, he has high secondary stats which should bring him up quite a bit comparative to others on mountain stages |

Guys, normally I'd given Schleck 81 or 82 MO. But this year I've chosen different.
We, database-makers, often make the mistake of leaving guys at their top stats in years gone past, in the full confidence they regain that level next year.
I now have chosen different. If a guy has a horrible year, even if due to injuries, his stats will be lowered. His potential will remain and he can always grow back at his old level. This goes for Andy Schleck, Frank Schleck, Cadel Evans, Robert Gesink and some others that I've severely lowered in comparison what I would give them if they were top.
Either learn to live with it or change it yourself. It's a choice of the DB-maker. It's a 2012 DB, not 2007-2011... |

Ah we have an experienced user

It's fun though, seeing all the fanboys panic at the sight of Andy Schlecks stat or even better. Rujano's MO stat. (forgetting all other stats that are connected to it like endurance/resistance/rec).
You guys have a lot, and I mean a lot to learn about DB's.
I have 10 years experience. So if you don't like it, it's your loss |

The stages from the races, are they all gonna be real? I think this is a good question. I alreay know the 1.2 and 2.2 races that are in (PCM-Portugal) so I would like to know if those races are gonna have real routes. |
