Sporting with another lose. 2-1 with Genk, incredibly bad defending in both goals... I don't think a new coach can do the trick.
Sporting is much bigger than all this people that are working there. How can players winning 150k euros play that bad?? Oh well, Sporting is not that, and Sporting will be back. We cannot buy so many south american players like benfica and porto, because we don't have the money to do it. Just put the 2nd team players (1st on 2nd national division) playing and then our national team can have more figos, ronaldos, nanis...

I disagree with the money part. Sporting is scouting the wrong areas. They paid 8M for Elias and that guy doesn't play sh*t. The last really good signing they made was indeed Izmailov, and we all know he can't play a full match

It says that Porto spends 100 million, Benfica 70 million and Sporting about a half Benfica spends. Elias came last season and it's a brasilian international player like Ramires. He's not playing enough, it's true, as it's true that Izmailov is a great player that can only make 20 matches a year. Still Sporting is not that, we're not competing, as will our national team not compete after Ronaldo and Nani retire.
About Europa League, maybe Sporting de Braga will go for it after leaving Champions League

Just got home after watching Molde against Steaua Bucuresti.
Molde started really well and should have been up with a couple of goals. The team faded of and Steaua scored on theire two occasions in the first half. In the second half it was quite even. Molde managed to put in a goal (Chima), but after that we didn't really manage to creat that many chances apart from a really big one for Mostrøm. With a bit of luck we could have taken it, but Steaua Bucuresti went home with a 2-1 win.
Academica had a crappy second half against Plzen but dominated the first half and lost two points with Hapoel at the end of the match on the only real shot on goal the Israelis had all match. They also had a great showing in Madrid (as did Plzen). I can't agree Plzen is "clearly" the 2nd place on the group, neither because of the quality of the game both teams have played nor the probable results in the two last rounds. If Academica win at home with Plzen and in Tel Aviv, Plzen has to at least draw with Atletico Madrid. And don't expect Simeone to put up a disconnected team again. He was beyond pissed with the team last night and they actually need the points because of next year's seeding in the CL.
