Thanks
Just an update guys, I'm still getting settled with my new Laptop, plus its able to run a lot of games I couldn't play before like Skyrim, La Noire so I may not be playing PCM much for a week or so. Just thought I'd let you guys know why there may be an absence of updates, before you come asking

Nah, it is shite, where you can be super fighter-mage-archer on the level 20 thnaks to the stupid crafting system...and once you reach max level, there is nothing to do there. It is godd for 20-40 hours, i never played it later again.

Well I've been finding the Spiders in the game a little scary, I've been getting through it and it seems good
-------
Giro del Trentino Stage 2
We started the action today with an attack of four, FDJ, Liquigas both being represented! They have a good shot today, just thanks to the course itself!
Then at the foot of the Cat. 1 climb we have 4 new attackers including one of the stage favourties Rigoberto Uran! He's caught the field napping as they quickly gain 1 minute on the climb!
Then at the summit, Pirazzi another rider part of the Uran escape decides to go for the points, a good option as he would not likely win the stage anyway, even if the group stayed clear to the end.
Then on the 2nd climb, just after the Cat. 1, De Weert and Carrara decide to give it a go, although they are caught shortly after on the descent.
Now on the final climb all of the lead riders are close, within 1 min of each each other from first to 20th! Cataldo started the climb well and dropped a few riders, but he cracked a few kms later and tried to hold on!
Ascani of Farnese sneaks away and gets the stage win, a huge boost to his team! Cataldo loses a lot of time, and will have to attack tomorrow to be anywhere near the front of the GC rankings. He insists his form for the Giro is "ahead of schedule" though.

Thanks guys! Very bad luck, but his form isn't that great now! I just think he will work in to it during the Giro, and I dont want him to peak too early
BTW I will try and keep updates somewhat regular even though it feels like I hardly play this game.

I didn't think it would turn out this bad
If I have to take screens again, I will take out the huge gaps in between the columns.
Or put them in spoilers......lets try that now...

Not the best Trentino for Dario so far, but the important thing is to get ready for the Giro!

Giro del Trentino Stage 3
We start off the day with a breakaway! Enrico Battaglin is the biggest name, but the break would get caught on the beginning of the final climb.
Garzeli makes the first move on the climb, but just a km later he is brought back.
Carrara makes a move now, but he cant get anywhere either. This big players have just been pulling back the moves, but something should happen shortly.
And it does! The pace is upped and Cataldo cant hold on. His day is now about holding on, and trying to limit his losses. Its another poor day for him.
Scarponi makes the big move of the day, from the favourites group and gets a gap! Its a huge move, and looks like the winning move!
And Scarponi celebrates, as he wins the day! What a ride! Cataldo loses over 4 minutes! He'll have to go on the attack tomorrow.

Don't worry about it. Its all about getting form. However if he rides like this at the Giro, I won't be pleased

There's still chance to get into top 10, with an attack from a little further out |

Not the greatest race for Dario, but it's purely a prep race for him and being around Top 15 is where he should be now to come in top shape later at Giro. Looking good so far Valv

Best time to be on form is really the Giro, but still, Dario's doing a good job. |

Great ride from Dario to be able to secure a top twenty finish, judging by that steep final climb |

Thanks all. His form is really good, but he's not performing well for me, not sure what it is.
Giro del Trentino Stage 4
The stage began with a 14 rider breakaway. For the whole day, they looked good to get away, but on the lower slopes of the climb, their gap was diminished very quickly, about 2mins lost per 10km. With 15km left, they had only a 1 min lead and it didn't look good to stay away.
With around 10km to go, some of the big guns make a move, like Scarponi and Gadret. Cataldo also makes a move, in hopes of catching them, but he just isn't on the pace, and settles into the third group on the road, behind the break (1st group) and the Heads of State (2nd Group). Still Cataldo is in an alright position.
Now a little later on, this is what the race looks like. We have a few solo riders, and Gadret making a move on the right, and now the Heads of State and the breakaway groups have merged.
With only 3km left, Gadret, Scarponi and the lead group get away. Someone from that group will likely win it in the sprint, as they are the freshest.
And its Scarponi! What a way to show everyone that you are the best! Even in the lead, he went on the attack and took the stage win! What a ride by him! Meanwhile, a couple minutes back, Cataldo came in. Its not the way he wanted to finish it, but still a week away from the Giro, his prep is going fine. Scarponi has made a case for being one of the favourites going into the Giro as well.

Dario Cataldo has decided not to ride the Tour de Romandie because his form is ahead of schedule, and if he rides it, his peak could be in the 2nd week instead of the 3rd week where he wants it, so he will use the next week to do some training. Lets get excited for the Giro! A full report with info and of course previews for the Giro will be presented, so you can see just where Cataldo is, and how he stacks up against the other riders!
