The stupid tour organizers refused my wildcard. That was my main goal for the whole season. I will be really fresh for the vuelta now and I also have to change my race program quite a lot. That absolutely sucks.Angry

I am sure the Team will bounce back from this set back Wink

Jakstar22
I might have to fast edit it because I dont think wiggins will win it next season. What do you guys think?

sutty68
Personally i would leave it as it is, but at the end of the day its your story Wink

Jakstar22
Wiggins might actually be better next season anyway so I will leave it and try and the vuelta instead.

Sorry about the wait for the final stage of Paris-Nice. I will post it either tonight or tomorrow. it was a very good stage. EBH suits it extremely well.

saev
great story, enjoying it Wink

Thanks saev. Hope you will continue to follow.Smile

Stage 8

The last stage of Paris-Nice. It is a hill stage and suits Boasson Hagen so the team will be working for him today. We are hoping to come away with 1 more win.

The Race

A large group of 10 tried to get away today. They had 1.07 after about 10km of racing.

Chris Froome got in the breakaway to go for a stage win.

We hit the first mountain and the leading group of 4 was 1.50 ahead.

The leading group of 4 was now 4 minutes ahead of the peloton with 62km to go. Froome, Devenyns, Brutt and Veikkanen.

Froome won the 3rd mountain sprint ahead of Veikkanen and Devenyns.

With 40km to go Froome was all alone and 4.48 ahead of the peloton. This is going to be close at the end.

Froome was caught with 2km to go on the 2nd last mountain. With 30km to go they are 3.56 ahead of the peloton.

Froome won the mountain sprint ahead of Devenyns and Brutt.

With 20km to go EBH attacked followed by Gerdemann.

With 5km to go EBH was 1.43 behind the leader Chavanel.

Chavanel celebrates a great win almost 54 seconds ahead of the next person.

EBH came in 4th place just ahead of Gerdemann. Meanwhile, back in the peloton, I have started my sprint and come in 6th place of the peloton.

Omega Pharma-Quickstep came 1-2 with Chavanel and Devenyns.

So close for Boasson Hagen on the final stage Wink

But at least Bradley had a great finish Overall in 7thWink

And the team took away two Classification wins, so all in all it was a good race for the team Wink

Hi guys

I have a few things to sort out now.

1. I have not got a wildcard for le tour so what race or races should I do during the time of the tour?
2. Transfer news is coming up. The team is running out of money so young riders is our focus.
3. Would Rohan Dennis be a good signing of not. I need suggestions on good cheap riders and if Dennis would be good. I might be able to suggest them to the team manager.

Anyway, thanks for your time
B.Wiggins

The Tour of Austria would be a good race to enter for the team Wink

And YES i would sign Rohan Dennis Wink

Jakstar22
Hi followers

Are there any other races that would be good to race in over the month of July.

@sutty68-I will mention Dennis to my manager even though he has already been talking about him. P.S. once again thanks for following. You have really helped keep this story alive Sutty.

Any other suggestions of riders.

Bye for now

Hey all followers.

I will be posting some news on transfers very soon. The team has picked up quite a lot of under 23 riders. The next race is big race I am contesting is Leige-Bastogne-Leige.
