@diogo288:
So you played 2 stages in 15 minutes on 1x timing? How did you do that?
To judge the AI you have to use these settings:
- Use official DB which came with the patch
- Turn off daily form and variable fitness
- Set NORMAL difficulty
- Play in 1x speed (at least up the mountains)

I've played in 8x, with teams without good mountains ryders and watched how the peloton reacted.
I was just an observer, and twice in Sybelles stage i've seen guys like Cavendish passing the 2 HC's with the peloton, only in the last climb some selection was made.
The only thing that i did different was the difficulty, i've chosen hard.
If i dont relay looks like the others simply like to enjoy the view. |

Guys the game should have not been about how it goes when you do nothing, but about how the game adapts to what you are doing, so i think testing need to be done like Lachi suggested...but i hope they tweaked it a bit.
I will run some tests in the afternoon.

So if you want to ride with GreedEdge its supposed to expect that you have to set the pace of climbs? nonsense.
What is strange ist that this AI issues only happen to some group of persons |

Of course diogo288 is correct in this. It should not matter which team you have or how you play. The AI should make sure that game play in the mountains is reasonable throughout the whole stage and ends with a reasonable result at the finish line.
Furthermore the AI should make sure that riders not interested in the GC will drop off earlier (as announced as new feature of this game).

If the peloton goes slowly, even sprinters in it remain. Rode in the peloton is much much easier than to dictate the pace. Plus in this year stats are more aligned = peloton can be longer = more time needed to torn. I think that is a little too early to assess categorical in this regard.

True, but the test results will obviously be very different if you will make the pace from the first climb or if you drop and watch.
Edit:Also the results should be completly different when playing a single stage or last mountain stage in the GT, there are too many factors to judge it in an hour...Not even mentioning that earlier in 2012 edition stage-race mode and career mode were different gameplay wise.

This is what i am talking about.
I put him in the front of the peloton in the beginning and he only got dropped on the last climb.
In PCM11 this would be impossible, as the rithym would make him drop in the first climb.
I had the problem playing with the Internet ON after some Windows updates, may the problem come from that?

@diogo288: No, the AI is not related to the Internet or Windows updates if that really was your question.
@wargoose: Cyanide announced maintenance, so maybe they are doing that still.

After I installed the WIN updates the online problem disappeared, but might be a coincidence.
Do you have results like this?
Even in stage mode, Goss should be capable of getting past 2 HC climbs, or any other rider with 60 MO. |

A first short test of sponsor goals showed that they finally have realistic goals.
BMC had several win goals at big classics and also some stage race ones.
Cofidis had stage win goals in French WT races like Tour or Dauphinee and GC wins in French HC and 2.1 races.
LKT Brandenburg had lots of .2 races and main goals for the German races like Rund um Köln, GP Berlin, Bayernrundfahrt and even there realistic goals like top5 or top10.
Still they will probably have no influence on anything but seeing it as a manager game it might give you more motivation to perform well there.
Also startlists finally work. It works a tiny bit different to former version. Instead of the question if you want to load a startlist, there is a "load startlist" button below the stages if there is one available.

I noticed that staff for small teams has been worked on too.Does this mean that your staff now is payed for by the sponsor... or do we still have to cheat in the edit save |

It means that smaller teams will have worse staff so they will cost less. It isn't paid for by your sponsor but if you play with career mode on easy then they will pay for them.

Next fucked up thing is by clicking ' button we removed that shitty circle under riders, but names where still above them so we knew exactly who's who, now ' removes everything....why do they need to mess up good features?

People asked to delete the names by pressing TAB like in recent versions. Obviously they decided to make it with the ' button and combined it with the circles. |

They do have an hilarious name though.
But seriously I loaded them up and I had goals at all 3 GTs. So yeah, I can sadly confirm that.
